颠覆与重建:《老无所依》的后现代解读

【摘要】：《老无所依》在麦卡锡娴熟的西部文学创作基础上,融合了犯罪文学的诸多元素,对通俗文学传统元素进行了颠覆性的改写,并将它们重构成为全新的样貌。本论文一方面讨论小说对传统元素的颠覆与重建,其中包括犯罪文学中的谜团设置、侦探形象和罪犯形象,以及西部文学中的西部边疆与牛仔形象。《老无所依》与大众文化的结合充分体现了后现代主义对通俗文化的开放精神。另一方面,本文试图从小说的文体学特征解读作品的后现代性。《老无所依》正体字的文字沿袭了作家以往的创作风格,造字人麦卡锡颠覆能指与所指的二元关系,重建了一个能指背后含义不再明确的符号世界,从而影射世界的难解与神秘;作者还颠覆了常规句法的逻辑关系,构建出一个主客体平等的世界;最后,小说以独特的印刷方式在视觉上颠覆了常规小说文本,建立了一个主体性消逝的世界。这些文本游戏表现出一个后现代主义作家在创作中消解语言规范的能力。
[Abstract]:On the basis of Mccarthy's skillful western literary creation, "the old men of nothing" integrates many elements of criminal literature, rewrites the traditional elements of popular literature, and reconstructs them into a new appearance. On the one hand, this thesis discusses the subversion and reconstruction of the traditional elements in the novel, including the mystery of the criminal literature. On the other hand, this article tries to interpret the postmodernity of the works from the stylistic features of the novel. Following the writer's previous creative style, the creator of the word Mccarthy subverted the two yuan relationship with his reference, reconstructing a symbolic world with no definite meaning behind it, thus innuending the world's difficulty and mystery; the author also subverted the logical relationship of conventional syntax and built a world of equality between the subject and the guest; finally, the novel was unique. The mode of printing subverts the text of the conventional novel visually and establishes a world of disappearing subjectivity. These text games show the ability of postmodernist writers to eliminate the language norms in their creation.
