【摘要】：杰弗里·乔叟（Geoffrey Chaucer,约1340—1400）是英国文学史上第一位大诗人，由于他奠定了英语语言基础和运用了现实主义写作手法，被誉为“英国语言之父”和“英国文学之父”。他写了多部关于骑士文化和宫廷爱情的作品，如《百鸟会议》、《公爵夫人颂》、《特洛伊罗斯与克瑞茜达》等。而他最重要的代表作是《坎特伯雷故事》，它以一个故事集的形式出现，，在部分故事中，乔叟运用了传统的浪漫传奇的创作手法，表达了理想中的骑士形象、骑士精神和骑士爱情。但由于受到意大利文艺复兴的影响，《坎特伯雷故事》中又充满了现实主义思想及人文思考，反映出了当时英国社会和文化的真实面貌。在生动塑造骑士这一个性鲜明、放射理想光芒色彩形象的同时，乔叟又把它放到了十四世纪英国社会的大背景中来考察，当时英国经历着政治的变革、持久的百年战争、残酷的黑死病及农民暴动，在这样的境况下他敏锐地意识到，骑士已不再辉煌，而是走向衰落、尽显丑态的一个群体，从而提出了自己的质疑和思考。本文旨在通过《坎特伯雷故事》这一充满时代特征的现实文学作品，分析乔叟笔下的骑士形象及骑士与教会和妇女的关系，并解读当时历史背景下骑士走向衰落的历史命运。
[Abstract]:Geoffrey Chaucer (1340-1400) is the first great poet in the history of English literature. He wrote several works on chivalry and court love, such as Birds, Ode to the Duchess, Troilus and Krishna. And his most important masterpiece is the Canterbury Story, which comes in the form of a collection of stories in which Chaucer uses traditional romantic legends to express the ideal knight image. Chivalry and chivalry love. However, influenced by the Italian Renaissance, the Canterbury Story is full of realism and humanistic thinking, which reflects the real appearance of English society and culture at that time. While vividly shaping the knight as a vivid and ideal color, Chaucer put it in the background of British society in the 14th century, when Britain was undergoing political change and a long hundred years' war. With the cruel black death and peasant riots, he was acutely aware that the knight was no longer brilliant, but a group of people who had declined and appeared ugly, and thus put forward his own doubts and thoughts. This paper aims to analyze the chivalry image in Chaucer's works and the relationship between the knight and the church and women through the realistic literary work of Canterbury, which is full of the characteristics of the times, and to interpret the historical fate of the knight's decline in the historical background of that time.
