原型批评视野中的《绿里奇迹》

【摘要】：美国当代著名作家斯蒂芬·金以恐怖小说闻名于世，作品受欧洲哥特小说传统影响很大。然而，不同于一般恐怖小说家，，金善于将古老的恐怖题材同美国当代的社会现实结合起来。他的作品常常在恐怖形式下表现出对现实生活的热切关注：小至常人注意不到的东西，大至政治事件。同时，金擅用梦幻、象征、悬念和暗示的方式激发读者的想象，从而在现实生活情境中营造恐怖效果，表现现代人所承受的社会压力和恐惧心态，进而触及人性的善恶以及人们在现实社会中的价值选择等问题。因此，在金的作品中，虽然很多情节是超现实的，但却常能给读者一种身处其境的恐怖感。可以说，在恐怖的形式下，金写出了美国人骨子里的恐惧和美国文化的漏洞。本论文以弗莱的原型批评理论为基础，分析金的《绿里奇迹》一书，从而得出书中主要人物约翰·柯菲是人性善和爱的象征，是以《圣经》中的耶稣·基督为原型创作的人物形象，而柯菲上绿里的故事则以耶稣受难为原型。通过对原型的使用，金带读者重回两千多年前耶稣受难的故事情境。在帮助他们释放不安，恐惧情绪的同时，促使其思考人性，关注美国当代社会现实：在科技进步与物质富足的今天，什么才能拯救人们内心的孤独与困苦？人性要怎样实现从单极向完整性的回归？对人性善与爱的肯定是金所能提供给当代人最好的答案。
[Abstract]:Stephen King, a famous contemporary American writer, is famous for his horror novels and his works are greatly influenced by the tradition of European Gothic novels. However, unlike the average horror novelist, King is good at combining ancient horror themes with contemporary social realities in the United States. His works often show a keen interest in real life in the form of terror: small as unnoticed, as large as political events. At the same time, Kim excels the reader's imagination with dreams, symbols, suspense and hints, thus creating a terrifying effect in real life situations, and expressing the social pressure and fear mentality that modern people are subjected to. And then touch on the good and evil of human nature and people's value choice in the real society and so on. Therefore, in Kim's works, although many plots are surreal, they often give readers a sense of horror in their situation. It can be said that in the form of terror, King wrote about American fears and loopholes in American culture. Based on Frey's archetypal criticism theory, this paper analyzes King's "Green Miracle", and concludes that John Coffey, the main character in the book, is a symbol of humanity and love. In the Bible, Jesus Christ is the archetypal figure, while the story of Coffey in Green is based on the crucifixion. Through the use of archetypes, the Golden Belt readers return to the story of Jesus' crucifixion more than 2,000 years ago. While helping them to release their uneasiness and fear, they are urged to think about human nature and pay attention to the reality of contemporary American society: what can save people's loneliness and hardship in today's scientific and technological progress and material prosperity? How to realize the return of human nature from unipolar to integrality? The affirmation of the goodness and love of human nature is the best answer that gold can provide to the present generation.
