《小镇畸人》中畸形人物的原型研究

【摘要】：舍伍德·安德森被称为美国现代文学史上“巨人们的导师”，他影响了海明威、福克纳、斯坦贝克、索尔·贝娄以及约翰?厄普代克等众多美国文学名家。安德森的代表作《小镇畸人》以极其细腻的笔触描写了畸人的内心世界，淋漓尽致地展现了安德森艺术创作的独特性。本文尝试运用荣格原型理论分析“小镇畸人”的心理特征，以期揭示其心理畸形的成因。荣格原型理论主要包括相互联系的以下四个原型：“面具”，“阴影”，“阿尼玛”/“阿尼玛斯”和“自性”。一个健康而完整的人格往往依赖于上述四个原型的有机融合，但内心破碎，，情感残缺的“小镇”人物在特定的社会历史背景下无处寻得心理层面的有机融合，因而无助无奈地沦为不幸的“畸人”。 本文试图借助荣格原型理论来更深入地理解并阐释“小镇畸人”的内心世界。本文分为五章。第一章简介舍伍德?安德森的生平、作品以及国内外针对《小镇畸人》的相关研究，并且陈述本文的分析方法，目的及意义。第二章对“畸人”文学及荣格原型理论进行了梳理。本章分为两部分。第一部分包括“畸人”的定义，“畸人”文学在美国文学史上的发展历程以及安德森对于“畸人”的独特看法；第二部分介绍了荣格的原型理论，包括“面具”，“阴影”，“阿尼玛”，“阿尼玛斯”，“自性”。第三章分析人物的畸形特征，其中“面具”和“阴影”理论用以分析人物自我关系的畸形；“阿尼玛”和“阿尼玛斯”理论用以剖析夫妻关系的畸形；“自性”理论用以解析孩子与父母关系的畸形。第四章进一步探寻造成人物畸形的社会历史原因，主要包括当时新兴经济模式的冲击，传统宗教的束缚，人际交流的缺失等因素。第五章总结了本文的观点以及舍伍德?安德森的匠心独具之处。他通过塑造一群独特的“畸人”，表达了对现代人类深切的人文关怀。通过《小镇畸人》，安德森呼吁现代人应当通过互相理解和相互关爱而避免沦为“畸人”。
[Abstract]:Sherwood Anderson is called "the tutors of giants" in the history of modern American literature. He influenced Hemingway, Faulkner, Steinbeck, Saul Bellow and John. Updike and many other famous American literary experts. Anderson's masterpiece, the small Town Man, depicts the inner world of the oddists with extremely delicate strokes, which vividly shows the uniqueness of Anderson's artistic creation. This paper tries to use Jung's archetypal theory to analyze the psychological characteristics of "the malformed people in small towns" in order to reveal the causes of their psychological deformities. Jung's archetypal theory mainly includes the following four related archetypes: mask, Shadow, Anima / Animas and self Nature. A healthy and complete personality often depends on the organic fusion of the four archetypes mentioned above, but the "small town" characters whose hearts are broken and their emotions are incomplete can not find the organic fusion of the psychological level in the specific social and historical background. As a result, helpless and helpless reduced to an unfortunate "freak." This paper tries to understand and explain the inner world of the "small town freak" more deeply with the help of Jung's archetypal theory. This paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter one introduces Sherwood? Anderson's life, works and domestic and foreign research on the "small Town Terror", and describes the analysis method, purpose and significance of this paper. The second chapter combs the literature and Jung's archetypal theory. This chapter is divided into two parts. The first part includes the definition of "abnormal person", the development of "abnormal person" literature in the history of American literature and Anderson's unique view on "abnormal person". The second part introduces Jung's archetypal theory, including mask, shadow, Animas and self nature. The third chapter analyzes the deformities of characters, in which "mask" and "shadow" are used to analyze the deformities of the self-relations of characters, and the theories of "Anima" and "Animas" are used to analyze the deformities of the relationship between husband and wife. The theory of "self nature" is used to analyze the malformation of the relationship between children and their parents. The fourth chapter further explores the social and historical causes of deformity, including the impact of the emerging economic model, the shackles of traditional religion, the lack of interpersonal communication and other factors. The fifth chapter summarizes the views of this paper and Sherwood? Anderson's originality is unique. He expressed his deep humanistic concern for modern human beings by shaping a group of unique "abnormal people". Anderson called on modern people to avoid becoming "teratons" through mutual understanding and love.
