从后殖民女性主义视角解读汤亭亭的《女勇士》

【摘要】：汤亭亭是当今最有影响力，在欧洲、北美、澳洲三地拥有读者最多，入选文集及教材最多的当代美国作家，同时也是最具有争议的亚裔作家之一。1976年她的处女作《女勇士：一段与鬼为伍的女孩的童年回忆》的发表使她声名大噪。该书以独特的叙述视角和手法、丰富的文化形象和奇特的故事传说震撼了当代美国文坛，丰富了美国文学的内涵，，并获得该年度“美国国家图书评论奖”非小说类奖。克林顿更是赞誉此书为“一部划时代的作品”。它不仅标志着华裔文学在美国主流文学史上开始占有一席之位，更吹响了华裔女性作家用手中的笔向权威挑战的号角，也使她步入美国文学“主流”。 本文从后殖民女性主义的视角出发，以文中六个女性形象为线索，试图分析三个弱势女性的失语状态及其原因，以及另外三个女性通过对夫权、父权以及帝国主义文化霸权的反抗对女性话语权的追寻和女性主体地位的建构。 本文共四部分。 首先，介绍汤亭亭和她的作品在美国文学界的影响尤其是国内外评论界对《女勇士》这部作品评论和研究现状分析。 其次，介绍了了后殖民女性主义的起源及其主要特征，以及女性失语的表现及其原因。并结合文本详细分析了“无名女人”、“月兰阿姨”和“华裔失语小女孩”的失语表现及其原因。 再次，从文本中另外三个女勇士对父权、夫权以及帝国主义文化霸权的反抗及其讲故事策略的运用对女性主体地位的建构和对女性写作权及话语权的追寻。 最后，文章通过对五个女性形象系统文本分析指出汤亭亭想通过此文章来达到颠覆菲勒斯中心秩序的目的，从而构建新女权主义的政治思想与价值观。汤亭亭塑造的女勇士形象在对少数族裔女性扭曲形象的颠覆的同时，也是对中国女性英雄传统的成功再现。由此充分肯定了汤亭亭跨文化写作的积极意义，进一步丰富文学理论批评，促进中西文化之间的交流与融合。同时指出，本文存在的些许不足之处，及对此文本分析的一些建议。
[Abstract]:Kingston is the most influential contemporary American writer in Europe, North America and Australia. And one of the most controversial Asian-American writers. Her 1976 debut, "the Warriors: memories of the Childhood of a Girl with a Ghost," made her famous. With its unique narrative angle and technique, rich cultural images and strange story legends, the book has shocked the contemporary American literary world, enriched the connotation of American literature, and won the non-fiction category award of the National Book Review Award of the United States of America. Clinton even praised the book as an epoch-making work. It not only marks the beginning of Chinese literature taking a seat in the history of American mainstream literature, but also blows the trumpet that Chinese female writers challenge authority with their pen, and makes her enter the mainstream of American literature. From the perspective of post-colonial feminism, this paper tries to analyze the aphasia of the three vulnerable women and their causes, and the other three women through the right of their husbands. Patriarchal right and the resistance of imperialist cultural hegemony to the pursuit of female discourse right and the construction of female subject position. There are four parts in this paper. Firstly, the author introduces the influence of Kingston and her works in American literary circles, especially the review and research status of female Warrior at home and abroad. Secondly, it introduces the origin of post-colonial feminism and its main characteristics, as well as the expression of female aphasia and its causes. Combined with the text, this paper analyzes the aphasia of unknown woman, Auntie Yuelan and the aphasia girl of Chinese nationality in detail. Thirdly, from the other three female warriors in the text of the resistance to patriarchal power, husband power and imperialist cultural hegemony and the use of storytelling strategies to the construction of women's subjective status and the pursuit of women's right to write and speak. Finally, through the systematic text analysis of five female images, the article points out that Kingston wants to subvert the central order of Phyllis through this article, thus constructing the new feminist political thoughts and values. The image of female warrior created by Kingston not only subverts the distorted image of minority women, but also successfully reproduces the tradition of Chinese female heroes. Therefore, it fully affirms the positive significance of Kingston's cross-cultural writing, further enriches literary theoretical criticism and promotes the communication and integration between Chinese and western cultures. At the same time, this paper points out some shortcomings and some suggestions for the text analysis.
