《道林格雷的画像》与《押沙龙，押沙龙

　　 哥特小说作为一种特殊的文学体裁以其独特的艺术特征引起了文学界越来越多的关注。本论文旨在将英国作家奥斯卡·王尔德的小说《道林格雷的画像》与美国作家威廉·福克纳的小说《押沙龙,押沙龙!》中的哥特特征进行比较研究。通过对两本小说中所具有的哥特特征,即恐怖氛围；恶棍英雄,不幸女人,恶魔等哥特式人物；果报,畸恋,死亡等哥特式主题,及孕育两本小说的哥特土壤进行比较研究后,论文证明两部作品从哥特视角进行比较研究的可行性；其次,此尝试性研究为英美哥特式小说的差异性与共同性原则构建了深入探究的基础；同时,可以引发思考,从而探索出英美哥特类文学作品间互补交流的平台,展示哥特小说独特的文学价值。
