莎士比亚四部悲剧中的死亡研究

本文主要考察莎士比亚《哈姆雷特》、《奥赛罗》、《李尔王》、《麦克白斯》等四部悲剧中的死亡形态、意象、主题及其哲学意义。通过文本分析,本文试图揭示在莎士比亚的时代,死亡决定着生命的存在意义、社会价值体系和行为方式。在根本上,死亡是一种文化现象,关注死亡就是关注生命本身。死亡问题和生命问题是同一的,死亡恐惧和“把握现在”是这一论题的两面。本论文包括四章。第一章简要提出了论文研究的目的、价值、意义和方法。第二章历时性地追述了古代欧洲的死亡观念,莎士比亚显然继承性的表现了这些繁杂的、似乎矛盾的死亡观念,尤其是基督教的死亡观念及其意象。第三章集中考察莎士比亚四部悲剧中死亡形态、意象、主题及其哲学意义。哈姆雷特关于“存在”与“死亡”的哲学思考、李尔王对人的“本真属性”的认识、麦克白斯对死亡后宁静的揭示,奥赛罗通过死亡净化自身的罪恶,死亡在此显现出不同的生命存在的实践意义。在莎士比亚四部悲剧中,死亡决定着生命的存在意义、社会价值体系和行为方式。哈姆莱特、奥塞罗等表现出自杀的意愿,而麦克白斯、李尔王却拒绝自杀,吁求高贵的死亡,埃德加则肯定了生命的美好意义;这些都再现了剧中人物身上迥然差异的死亡态度和行...
