　　《去吧,摩西》是福克纳的主要作品之一。白1942年出版以来,它引起了众多评论家及学者的关注,成为福克纳研究的热点。早期的评论家更多的是把《去吧,摩西》作为一部短篇小说集,而当今的福克纳研究者则是将它看成一部完整连贯的长篇小说。本论文将从新历史主义视角解读《去吧,摩西》中的混血儿对南方庄园体制的颠覆。作为一位南方白人作家,福克纳并未对南方的历史文化持褒扬态度。他试图颠覆南方庄园体制对混血儿的种族压迫与歧视。通过将混血儿放在南方的历史文化背景下进行分析研究,读者将更真实、更清晰的了解混血儿在美国南方庄园里的生存状况和他们的最终命运。混血儿是一个特殊群体,他们没有人身自由,遭遇身份困境。尽管有着部分白人血液,他们依然遭受着白人庄园主的压迫与剥削。在《去吧,摩西》中,对于无法忍受的社会地位,四代混血儿试图颠覆美国南方的庄园体制,但都以失败告终,他们无法穿越南方等级森严的种种界线。同时,混血儿的反抗结局也揭示了福克纳温和的反奴隶制和反种族主义态度以及他对南方庄园的特殊情感。本论文的第一章追述了南方庄园的历史及其《去吧,摩西》中的混血儿在南方庄园的中生活状况。美国南方因其特殊的地理环境和历史文化而...
