《普通读者》中弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的文学思想解读

　　弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫是继简·奥斯丁及勃朗特姐妹以及乔治·艾略特之后英国文坛上又一位才华横溢的女作家,在她的头上被冠以众多名号：英国意识流小说的杰出代表人物、有深刻见解的文学批评家、极富风格的随笔作家、杰出的短篇小说作家及传记作家等,但长期以来,人们更多关注的是她的小说创作,对其小说创作中的多种元素进行了多方面的考察,而对她的散文的研究却相对较少。其实,有些研究者们已发现她的小说并不注重情节,似乎言之有理。但至少我们不能忽略一个事实,即：弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫最初是以文学评论步入文学创作之路的。早在1905年,她就为《泰晤士报文学增刊》及其它期刊撰写了五百多篇文学评论文章,这些评论文章就是用散文的形式写就,后来有许多被录入《普通读者》及《普通读者二集》（The Common Reader,1925; The Second Common Reader,1932）中。在这些随笔中,在这些随笔中,她用丰富的笔触表现了人物的内心活动,并进行了细致入微的刻画。这些写作经历无疑为她后来的小说创作奠定了牢不可破的基础。批评家们普遍认为,在她的两本散文集《普通读者》中包含了她在批评散文方面重要的文学成就。在这些随...
