[Abstract]:(Ebola virus disease,EVD), formerly known as Ebola haemorrhagic fever, is a severe, high-mortality epidemic hemorrhagic fever caused by Ebola virus (Ebola virus,EBOV). EVD first appeared in Zayl (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo) and South Sudan in Central Africa.
