[Abstract]:In August 2016, the American Heart Association (American Heart Association,AHA) released a scientific statement on the risk of sugar supplementation and cardiovascular disease in children, recommending that children and adolescents aged 18 years should not receive 6 tablespoons (25g) of added sugar per day. 2-year-olds should try to avoid adding sugar.
