“正名”与“正心”——孔子“正名”说所体现的伦理价值

【摘要】:孔子"正名"说虽然是为解决政治问题而提出的,但是,其伦理意义却更为突出,因为在"名"的客观的形态中承载着德性对于事物的规定。因此,表面上看,"正名"是要求事物名实一致,但归根结底是要求心意纯正。因为只有心意纯正才能真正充实事物之"名",也就是说,欲"正名"须先"正心"。在此理论基础上,所谓的"正名"既要求对事物之名进行内涵上的厘定,也要求仁心通过"成物"的过程贯注于伦理生活。所以,"正名"的根本意义在于让德性生命自然且自由地呈现。
[Abstract]:Although Confucius' theory of "correct name" is put forward to solve political problems, its ethical significance is more prominent, because in the objective form of "name", it carries the rules of virtue for things. On the face of it, "correct name" requires things to be identical in name and substance, but in the final analysis it requires pure mind. For only pure mind can truly enrich the "name" of things, that is to say, to "correct a name" one must first "be honest with one's heart." on the basis of this theory, The so-called "correct name" not only requires the determination of the connotation of the name of things, but also requires the benevolence to concentrate on ethical life through the process of "adult". Therefore, the fundamental meaning of "correcting name" lies in the natural and free presentation of the life of virtue.
