现代儒学与中华文明之“常道”——基于文明论视域的考察

【摘要】：要准确把握现代儒学的历史使命和发展趋势,须坚持从一种更全面的文明论视域出发,不仅承认多种文明同时共存,而且承认各大文明自成一体,各有相对普遍和独立的"文明之道"以及作为灵魂与核心的"常道"。长期以来人们将提倡"常道"与"思想自由"简单对立起来,这在学理和事实上其实都站不住脚。现代儒学的历史使命就是为建立现代中华文明的"常道"做出贡献,它在百余年来的探索过程中已开掘出"技/学"、"政/教"、"理/道"、"礼/俗"四大层面的内容。现代儒学要完成其历史使命,须围绕这些层面展开,真正实现儒学传统的创造性转化和创新性发展。
[Abstract]:In order to accurately grasp the historical mission and development trend of modern Confucianism, we must adhere to a more comprehensive view of civilization, recognizing not only the coexistence of many civilizations at the same time, but also the fact that all major civilizations are self-contained. Each has a relatively universal and independent path of civilization, as well as the soul and core of the "Changdao." For a long time people have advocated the simple opposition between "Changdao" and "freedom of thought", which in fact is untenable in theory and fact. The historical mission of modern Confucianism is to contribute to the establishment of the "Changdao" of modern Chinese civilization. In the course of its exploration over the past hundred years, it has uncovered the contents of "Technology / Learning", "Politics / Education", "principle / Tao" and "Rites / Custom". In order to complete its historical mission, modern Confucianism must focus on these aspects to realize the creative transformation and innovative development of Confucianism tradition.
