东亚儒佛论诤与会通的思想史考察

【摘要】:本文旨在探讨自东汉末年佛教来华之后,东亚地区儒佛互动的问题,尤其是儒佛之间长达两千年的论诤及会通。本文从东汉末年开始,回顾了东亚儒佛论诤的起源、发展与主要议题,以及儒佛双方人士在论辩时所采取的主要论述策略。在中国,历经魏晋南北朝时期的论诤,儒佛各自关于家庭伦理(孝与出家)、政治伦理(沙门与王权)、华夷之辨、形神关系,以及因果与轮回等问题的论述,不仅在中国社会中持续发展,并传入朝鲜与日本,产生回响。从中国、朝鲜再到日本,佛门中人的论述为儒者开启了新的知识与视域,从相互攻诘论辩之中增益双方之互相了解,并走向儒佛思想的会通。本文还进一步从中、韩、日三地的儒佛论诤史来看儒佛双方人士所运用的论述策略及其效果。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this paper is to discuss the interaction between Confucianism and Buddhism in East Asia since the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty when Buddhism came to China, especially the two thousand years of debate and understanding between Confucianism and Buddhism. Starting from the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, this paper reviews the origin, development and main issues of Confucianism and Buddhism in East Asia, as well as the main argumentation strategies adopted by the scholars of Confucianism and Buddhism. In China, during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern dynasties, Confucianism and Buddhism discussed family ethics (filial piety and monastic family, political ethics (Shamen and Wang Quan, debate of Hua Yi), relationship between form and spirit, causality and reincarnation, etc. Not only sustained development in Chinese society, and spread to Korea and Japan, reverberating. From China, Korea to Japan, the discourse of the Buddhist people opens up a new knowledge and horizon for the Confucians, increases the mutual understanding between the two sides and leads to the understanding of Confucianism and Buddhism. Furthermore, this paper discusses the discussion strategies and effects of Confucianism and Buddhism in the history of Confucianism and Buddhism in Korea and Japan.
