基于概念隐喻理论的教学对高中生英语短语动词习得效果的实验研究

  短语动词是外语教学的难点之一。传统的短语动词教学中,教师通常仅罗列短语动词语义,而缺乏深层次的解析,致使学生常常出现误用、甚至刻意回避使用短语动词的现象。以往短语动词的研究集中在句法和语义层面,它们往往忽视了短语动词中小品词的基本义,以及所衍生出的丰富方位隐喻义,而其通常对学习短语动词具有一定的促进作用。随着认知语言学的发展,短语动词也逐渐受到认知语言学家的关注。学者们基于认知理论下的短语动词教学做了相关的实证研究,但国内关于概念隐喻理论指导高中生习得短语动词的教学实证研究涉之甚少。本文以Lakoff&Johnson的概念隐喻为理论基础,探究其对高中生习得短语动词的教学效果,具体将从理解和产出两个层面进行研究和探索。研究问题如下:1)基于概念隐喻理论的教学是否比传统教学更能促进高中生对目标短语动词的理解?2)基于概念隐喻理论的教学是否比传统教学更能促进高中生对目标短语动词的输出?3)基于概念隐喻理论的教学能否激发高中生对目标短语动词的学习兴趣?本研究采取实验对照法,对来自广东省河源市某中学高二英语水平相当的两个平行班中的78名学生进行了为期八周的教学实验。实验中选取的目标短语动...
