管理者背景特征、研发投资与企业绩效—来自中国中小板上市公司的经验证据

【摘要】：本文以我国中小板上市公司为研究样本,区分上市公司所处地区,实证检验了不同背景特征的管理者所进行的研发投资行为对企业绩效的影响。本文研究发现,在东部地区的企业中,管理者的教育层次与研发投资之间呈显著正相关关系,并且这种研发投资对企业绩效有显著的正面影响;管理者的年龄与研发投资之间呈显著负相关关系,但是对企业绩效并没有显著影响。在中西部地区企业中,仅发现管理者教育层次、研发投资以及两者的交叉项与公司绩效显著相关。研究结论表明,不同地区环境下管理者背景特征对企业研发投资以及公司绩效的影响存在较大差异。
[Abstract]:This paper takes the small and medium-sized board listed companies as the research sample to distinguish the regions where the listed companies are located, and empirically tests the impact of R & D investment behavior of managers with different background characteristics on the performance of enterprises. In enterprises in the eastern region, there is a significant positive correlation between the level of managers' education and R & D investment, and this kind of R & D investment has a significant positive impact on enterprise performance. There is a significant negative correlation between the age of managers and R & D investment, but there is no significant impact on corporate performance. R & D investment and their cross items are significantly correlated with corporate performance. The results show that the influence of background characteristics of managers on R & D investment and corporate performance is different in different regions.
