“大节有亏”的冯道缘何成为五代“政坛常青树”

【摘要】：正冯道(882—954),自号长乐老,五代时瀛州景城(今河北省沧县西)人,先后辅佐了后唐、后晋、大辽、后汉、后周的12位皇帝。他身处乱世,却官运亨通,从政35年,做了近30年宰辅,可谓是中国官场上的奇迹,被称为"政坛常青树"。当然,他也备受争议。一方面,欧阳修骂他"可谓无廉耻者矣"(《新五代史》卷五十四),司马光骂他"乃奸臣之尤"(《资治通鉴》卷二九一),王夫之说他"道之恶浮于纣,祸烈于跖"(《读通鉴论》卷二十九)。
