关于包头钍资源战略储备的剖析

【摘要】:钍在中子轰击下能生成可裂变的U233,是最有效潜在的核燃料;在非能源领域,钍还用于制作特种合金、催化剂、高温陶瓷材料等,钍是极其重要的战略资源。包头白云鄂博矿钍资源量大,随铁、稀土采选,提取分离技术成熟,生产成本低。国内外钍资源核能利用开展了大量研究开发工作,并在各种实验堆和动力堆中予以应用。因此,应保护好钍资源,尽快实施包头钍资源战略储备。
[Abstract]:Thorium can produce fissionable U233s under neutron bombardment, which is the most effective and potential nuclear fuel. In non-energy field, thorium is also used to make special alloys, catalysts, high-temperature ceramic materials and so on. Thorium is an extremely important strategic resource. Baotou Bayan Obo Mine has a large amount of thorium resources, with iron and rare earth extraction and separation, the extraction and separation technology is mature, and the production cost is low. A great deal of research and development work has been carried out on the utilization of thorium resource nuclear energy at home and abroad, and it has been applied in various experimental reactors and power reactors. Therefore, the thorium resources should be protected and the strategic reserves of the thorium resources in Baotou should be implemented as soon as possible.
