高中生英文写作语篇衔接手段失误研究

【摘要】:英语写作的培养在英语教学中占有重要的位置。高中学生的英语书面表达常常由于衔接手段的运用不当导致整个篇章条理不清、结构松散、连贯性差,并且写作语言与思维严重受汉语的负迁移的影响,从而导致作文的质量也差强人意。为解决上述问题,本研究首先以Halliday等语言学家关于语篇衔接的理论为依据,以高中生英汉写作实例为语料,对其英汉作文中的衔接手段进行对比失误分析研究。在对比研究中笔者发现,学生受汉语影响,在五种衔接手段的运用中分别有其各自的衔接失误,如照应词使用混乱;过多使用原词重复使文章Up嗦,较少使用替代或省略手法来衔接上下文;连接词时常缺失或误用使文章出现逻辑错误;词汇搭配不当等。针对所发现的衔接失误的问题,笔者进而分析造成这些问题的三个因素:第一,母语的负迁移作用。第二,语言学习者缺乏兴趣和缺乏信心等负面心理因素。第三,语言学习者的基础掌握不牢,知识水平欠缺。同时,教学中对英语语篇衔接不够重视,缺乏对这方面的训练,也是造成该问题日益严重的一个因素。为了找到解决以上问题的对策,笔者进行了两个月的教学实践,并通过前测和后测的结果对比来印证所采取的策略对学生的英文写作具有多大的促进作用,以及学生使用语篇衔接的水平具有怎样的提升。根据实验结果,笔者提出一些在教学中可行的教学训练方法供相关教师参考。这些方法覆盖了词汇与句法,语篇的衔接与连贯,以及写作思维能力等方面的讲解与训练,最后导向综合的写作练习,以便让学生能循序渐进地掌握语言和思维两方面的能力。
[Abstract]:The cultivation of English writing plays an important role in English teaching. The English written expression of senior high school students often leads to the disorganization, loose structure and poor coherence of the whole text due to the improper use of cohesive devices. And writing language and thinking are seriously affected by the negative transfer of Chinese, resulting in the composition quality is also unsatisfactory. In order to solve the above problems. The present study is based on the theories of discourse cohesion developed by Halliday and other linguists, and takes examples of high school students' English and Chinese writing as data. The contrastive study of cohesive devices in English and Chinese compositions shows that students are influenced by Chinese and have their own cohesive errors in the use of the five cohesive devices. Such as anaphora use confusion; Excessive use of original words makes the article wordy, less use of substitution or ellipsis to link up the context; Conjunction words are often missing or misused to make logical errors in the article; The author then analyzes the three factors that lead to these problems: first, the negative transfer of mother tongue. Second, the negative transfer of mother tongue. Language learners lack interest and confidence and other negative psychological factors. Third, language learners' basic knowledge is not good enough. At the same time, English discourse cohesion is not paid enough attention in the teaching. The lack of training in this area is also a factor causing the growing seriousness of the problem. In order to find solutions to the above problems, the author carried out two months of teaching practice. By comparing the results of pre-test and post-test, we can see how the strategies can promote students' English writing, and how to improve the students' ability of using text cohesion. The author puts forward some practical teaching and training methods for teachers. These methods cover vocabulary and syntax, cohesion and coherence of discourse, and the ability of writing thinking. Finally lead to comprehensive writing exercises so that students can master both language and thinking skills step by step.
