初中英语词汇教学中的母语负迁移研究

【摘要】:语言迁移是指在第二语言学习中,学习者在使用第二语言时,借助于母语的词义、结构规则或习惯来表达思想这样一种现象。如果母语的语言规则和外语是一致的,那么母语的规则迁移会对目标语有积极的影响,这被称为正迁移。负迁移则是指,如果母语的语言规则不符合外语的习惯,就会对外语学习产生消极影响。中国的中学生处于母语为汉语的生活环境中,掌握牢固了汉语的语言规则和思维方式,因而在学习第二语言的过程中会不可避免的出现语言的迁移。 随着国际交往的日益频繁,英语的语言运用能力和语言交际能力越来越受到重视,而词汇是语言大厦的根基,没有词汇,将很难实现语言的交际和运用,且由于词汇量较大,用法灵活,较难掌握,学生更易受到母语的影响而出现错误,而在词汇方面,特别是初中生词汇教学方面的负迁移研究较少,因此本文将主要研究母语负迁移在词汇方面的影响并解决以下两个研究问题: (1)初中英语教学中由母语负迁移所造成的词汇错误在实验中具体表现在哪些方面?大致比例为多少? (2)由母语负迁移所造成的词汇错误与英语成绩之间有何相关性? 本文以迁移理论、对比分析和错误分析为理论基础,对桐柏县方树泉中学九年级两个班的学生进行问卷调查和词汇测试卷的考试,其中(2)班为实验班,(3)班为控制班,收集数据并利用EXCEL2013和SPSS21.0软件进行分析来了解初中生英语词汇方面所受母语负迁移造成的错误类型。通过分析可知,由母语负迁移造成的词汇错误主要有两个方面:词性方面的错误和词义方面的错误;由母语负迁移造成的错误越多,其英语总体水平及成绩越低,两者呈负相关。 由于母语负迁移对词汇造成的错误是不可完全避免的,因此本文致力于研究由负迁移所导致的词汇错误的类型,有针对性地进行教学,尽可能地减小负迁移的影响,提出了一些改善母语负迁移对中学生词汇影响的建议,积极促进母语的正迁移的发生,从而提高中学生的英语水平和学习效率。
[Abstract]:Language transfer refers to the meaning of a second language learner's mother tongue when using a second language. If the native language is consistent with the foreign language, the transfer of the native language rules will have a positive impact on the target language. This is called positive transfer. Negative transfer means that if the native language language rules do not conform to the foreign language habits, it will have a negative impact on foreign language learning. Mastering the Chinese language rules and modes of thinking will inevitably lead to language transfer in the process of learning a second language. With the increasing frequency of international communication, more and more attention has been paid to English language competence and communicative competence. Vocabulary is the foundation of language building. Without vocabulary, it will be difficult to realize language communication and application. Because of the large vocabulary, flexible usage, difficult to master, students are more vulnerable to the influence of their mother tongue and make mistakes, but in vocabulary, especially in the vocabulary teaching of junior high school students, there are few negative transfer studies. Therefore, this thesis will focus on the influence of negative transfer of mother tongue on vocabulary and solve the following two problems: 1) what are the specific aspects of vocabulary errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue in junior middle school English teaching? What is the approximate ratio? (2) what is the correlation between vocabulary errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue and English achievement? On the basis of transfer theory, comparative analysis and error analysis, this paper makes a questionnaire survey and a test of vocabulary test paper for the students of two classes in Fangshu Quan Middle School in Tongbai County, in which class No. 2 is the experimental class. Class 3) Control class. The data were collected and analyzed by EXCEL2013 and SPSS21.0 software to understand the errors caused by the negative transfer of mother tongue in English vocabulary of junior high school students. There are two aspects of lexical errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue: part of speech errors and semantic errors; The more errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue, the lower the overall English proficiency and achievement. Since the errors caused by negative transfer of mother tongue to vocabulary are unavoidable, this paper is devoted to the study of the types of vocabulary errors caused by negative transfer and teaching in a targeted way. This paper tries to minimize the influence of negative transfer and puts forward some suggestions to improve the influence of negative transfer of mother tongue on the vocabulary of middle school students so as to promote the occurrence of positive transfer of mother tongue so as to improve the English proficiency and learning efficiency of middle school students.
