初中英语教材《Go for it!》新旧版比较研究

【摘要】:我国英语教材研究起步较晚,在过去几十年中人民教育出版社出版的英语教材一直是我国英语教育的统编教材,成为我国英语教材的主流。本研究以2002年和2012年该社出版的《Go for it!》七年级上册课本(简称“七上”)作为研究对象,一方面,运用归纳法和分析法对新旧版七(上)教材概况、编排结构、教材内容进行静态对比分析;另一方面运用问卷调查法进行动态调查。调查对象为正在使用新版七(上)教材的河南省汤阴县两所初级中学的教师和学生。参考Grant量表的内容,调查两所学校的师生使用新版教材的情况,然后使用数据统计法进行分析。通过动静结合的方式全面了解新版教材的特点、优势和不足,并反思教材使用中出现的一些问题。本研究的结论是:新版七(上)不仅继承了旧版该册教材的许多优点,而且呈现出一些新的特色:页面精美、内容优化;话题衔接紧凑;知识体系完善;结构精干;语法、阅读、写作版块设计更科学;文章篇幅、知识难度和容量适中;有利于学生自主性学习能力的培养等。其不足之处在于:封皮质量不高;对教师专业素质要求高,不利于教师节省备课时间;教材间知识衔接梯度略大等。本研究从加强教师培训、加强校内教材研究方面为新版教材七年级上册的使用提出一些建议,并从教材质量、教材衔接、教材立体化开发等方面提出参考性的修订建议。希望本文所给出的一些使用和修订建议能够促进我国英语教育事业的发展。
[Abstract]:The study of English teaching materials in China started relatively late. In the past decades, the English textbooks published by the people's Education Publishing House have been the integral compilation of English teaching materials in China. This study is based on the publication of "go for it" in 2002 and 2012. On the one hand, we use inductive method and analysis method to analyze the general situation, arrangement structure and content of the new and old textbooks. On the other hand, using the method of questionnaire to carry out the dynamic investigation. The subjects are teachers and students of two junior middle schools in Tangyin County, Henan Province, who are using the new edition of the seventh (first) textbook. Reference is made to the contents of the Grant scale. To investigate the use of the new edition of textbooks by teachers and students in the two schools, and then to use the method of data statistics to analyze the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the new edition of textbooks by means of a combination of static and dynamic. The conclusions of this study are as follows: the new edition not only inherits many advantages of the old edition of the textbook, but also presents some new features: exquisite page, optimized content, compact topic convergence; Knowledge system is perfect, structure is lean, grammar, reading and writing are designed more scientifically, the length, difficulty and capacity of the article are moderate, which is beneficial to the cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability and so on. This study puts forward some suggestions for the use of the new edition of the first edition of the seventh grade textbook from the aspects of strengthening teacher training and strengthening the study of school teaching materials from the aspects of strengthening teachers' training and strengthening the study of teaching materials in schools, because it is not conducive to saving time for teachers to prepare lessons, and the gradient of knowledge convergence between textbooks is slightly greater. The author also puts forward some suggestions for revision from the aspects of the quality of teaching materials, the cohesion of teaching materials, the three-dimensional development of textbooks, etc. It is hoped that some of the suggestions in this paper can promote the development of English education in China.
