初中生英语阅读动机调查

【摘要】:最近几十年,对阅读动机的研究与讨论一直未间断过。绝大多数关于阅读动机的研究都是基于一语或是二语环境。然而在中国,英语是一门外语。在此研究背景下,学习者的英语阅读动机现状和影响因素或有所不同,这需要进一步的研究。本文的目的有三个。第一个是探寻初中生英语阅读动机的现状。第二个是研究初中生阅读动机和阅读成绩的相关性。第三个也是最重要的是探讨初中生阅读动机的影响因素。本文采用定量的研究方法。成都某中学的90位七年级学生参与了本文的研究。研究数据来自这些学生所答的中文版阅读动机问卷以及一次英语阅读测试的成绩。然后通过相关性分析得出了阅读动机和阅读成绩的关系,再通过因子分析找出了影响初中生阅读动机的主要因素。研究结果显示初中生拥有较高的英语阅读动机。同时,英语阅读动机和阅读成绩存在正相关的关系。分析显示强烈的阅读动机可以提高学生的阅读成绩。通过因子分析,找到了影响初中学生英语阅读动机的六个影响因子。在这些影响因子当中,有四个显得尤其重要。它们是:内在动机、融合型动机、自我效能感和阅读规避。由于研究背景的不同,影响学生的阅读动机的因子有一些不同。本研究旨在为探讨中国中学生的英语阅读动机提供帮助。本研究结果表明,教师应该通过增强学生的阅读动机,帮助他们提高英语阅读成绩。
[Abstract]:In recent decades, the research and discussion on reading motivation has been uninterrupted. Most of the studies on reading motivation are based on one-language or two-language environment. However, in China, English is a foreign language. The present situation and influencing factors of learners' English reading motivation may be different. The purpose of this paper is to explore the current situation of junior high school students' English reading motivation. The second is to study the correlation between reading motivation and reading achievement of junior high school students. The third is also the most important. This paper uses a quantitative method. 90 seventh graders from a middle school in Chengdu participated in the study. The data are from the Chinese version of the Chinese version of reading motivation answered by these students. The results of the questionnaire and an English reading test. Then the relationship between reading motivation and reading achievement is obtained by correlation analysis. Through factor analysis, we find out the main factors that affect the reading motivation of junior high school students. The results show that junior high school students have higher English reading motivation. At the same time, There is a positive correlation between English reading motivation and reading achievement. The analysis shows that strong reading motivation can improve students' reading performance. In this paper, we find six factors that influence the English reading motivation of junior high school students. Among these factors, four are especially important. They are intrinsic motivation, fusion motivation, and so on. Self-efficacy and reading aversion. There are some differences in factors that affect students' reading motivation due to different backgrounds. This study aims to help Chinese middle school students to explore their English reading motivation. Teachers should help students improve their reading performance by enhancing their reading motivation.
