陈建功与高中数学教科书的编撰

【摘要】:20世纪30年代,陈建功分别与毛路真、郦福绵编撰了《高中代数学》和《高中几何学》。这两本教科书参照1932年颁布的《高级中学算学课程标准》,主要选取流行的美、英等国数学教材内容编撰。《高中代数学》大量内容取材于《范氏大代数》,以及霍尔、奈特合著的《大代数》。《高中几何学》多取材于史密斯修订的温德华士《平面和立体几何学》,以及舒塞司、塞未诺克合著,斯凯勒修订的《平面和立体几何学》。但这两本教科书并非简单照搬或拼凑之作,在篇章结构和某些章节内容安排上与所取材的教材差异较大,并均具特色。出版之后,都再版十余次。它们的编撰是国人通过向国外数学教材取材,打造适合新课程标准的高中数学教科书的一次成功尝试,促进了近代中国高中数学教科书的本土化。
