外语词块教学中词汇记忆的性别倾向

【摘要】：词汇是语言的重要组成部分,是语言的三大要素之一。记忆大量的词汇是语言学习的整个过程必不可少的。前人的研究已经证明词块教学与学习的根本优势是整合记忆单元。词块教学已逐渐成为第二语言学习和教学的热点,并成为中国英语课堂教学实践的一种趋势。大量的研究证明第二语言的学习效率是与性别差异有关,尤其词汇学习与词汇记忆中女生明显优于男生。词块教学和词块学习最重要的优势是促进学习者的记忆效率,这一点已经得到证实。那么我们就有理由假设：词块将对记忆水平更低的学习者可能受益更多。换句话说,处于记忆劣势地位的男性在词块学习中一定受益更多,即记忆得更好。因此,本研究试图探究中学生在记忆的不同维度(短时记忆和长时记忆)男生是否优于女生。实验结果部分地证明了我们的假设：在短时记忆实验中表明没有性别差异,而在长时记忆实验中存在性别倾向,也就是女生明显优于男生。实验结果表明：组块效应能够给男生带来暂时优势,然而从长时记忆来说这种优势不能继续延续,还是女生占优势。
[Abstract]:Vocabulary is an important part of language and one of the three elements of language. Memorizing a large number of words is essential to the whole process of language learning. Previous studies have proved that the fundamental advantage of lexical chunks teaching and learning is integrated memory unit. Lexical chunks teaching has gradually become a hot topic in second language learning and teaching, and has become a trend in English classroom teaching in China. A large number of studies have proved that the second language learning efficiency is related to gender differences, especially in vocabulary learning and vocabulary memory. It has been proved that the most important advantage of lexical chunk teaching and lexical chunks learning is to promote learners' memory efficiency. It is reasonable to assume that lexical chunks will benefit learners with lower memory levels. In other words, men at a memory disadvantage must benefit more from lexical chunks, that is, better memory. Therefore, this study attempts to explore whether male students are superior to girls in different dimensions of memory (short term memory and long term memory). The experimental results partially prove our hypothesis that there is no gender difference in the short-term memory experiment, while in the long-term memory experiment, there is a tendency of gender, that is, girls are obviously superior to boys. The experimental results show that the block effect can bring temporary advantages to boys, but this advantage can not be continued in long-term memory, or is the advantage of girls.
