基于《新目标》初中英语教材的任务型教学研究

【摘要】:任务型教学自20世纪80年代开始就在国际上流行起来,我国则在20世纪90年代将其引入,并且很快得到了国内教育研究者和教师的广泛认可与运用。 我国教育部分别于2001年和2011年颁布的《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准(实验稿)》和《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》都倡导在初中阶段教学中使用任务型教学法。任务型教学要求教师要注重语言实践,让学生在做中学,能更好地激发学生的学习动机,同时,任务型教学能够改善学生的学习方式,对学生自主学习能力有一定的促进作用,任务型教学还有利于全面培养和发展学生的综合素质,这些都与我国新课程的理念相一致。因此任务型教学近年来在我国得到了广泛地推广和使用,与之相对应的教材也应运而生。山东省正在使用的《义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语(新目标)Go For It》(2012版)(以下简称新版《新目标》)就是以任务型教学理念为核心编写而成的。本文旨在调查山东省初中英语教师运用新版《新目标》英语教材进行任务型教学的实际情况,发现影响任务型教学在初中英语课堂中有效实施的因素,从而提出相关建议。 本文主要运用问卷调查法、访谈法和课堂观察法三种研究方法对山东省两所初中的教师和学生进行调查研究。本文的调查研究主要围绕四个问题进行:1)教师对于新版《新目标》初中英语教材的认可程度如何?2)教师对于任务型教学的认知情况如何?教师在教学中如何处理教材中设计的任务?3)在新版《新目标》英语教材施教中运用任务型教学法对学生英语学习有哪些促进作用?4)影响初中英语课堂中任务型教学法有效实施的因素有哪些? 通过调查研究笔者得出以下结论:大部分英语教师对于新版《新目标》英语教材持认可态度,认为该教材符合新课程标准的要求,适合七年级学生的使用,有利于任务型教学的实施;绝大多数英语教师了解任务型教学的基本理念,但是在实际运用时,只有少数教师能做到有效运用,大部分教师由于没有接受过专门的任务型教学培训,,因此无法在实际教学中有效地实施该教学法;大部分教师在处理教材中设计的任务时没有充分理解教材中任务的设计意图,随意删减或者更改教材中的任务,不利于学生的英语学习;在新版《新目标》英语教材施教中运用任务型教学法有利于激发学生的学习兴趣,有利于培养学生的自主学习意识以及合作探究精神,有利于学生准确掌握相关的语言知识和语言技能,有利于培养学生综合语言运用的能力;影响任务型教学有效实施的因素主要有四方面:教师合理使用教材的能力有所欠缺,教师自身的教学技能不高,部分教师仍旧存在传统的教学观念,现行的评价体系不合理。针对这四方面的问题笔者提出了相关建议,希望为以后任务型教学的有效实施提供参考。
[Abstract]:Task-based teaching has been popular in the world since 1980s, and it has been widely accepted and applied by domestic educational researchers and teachers in our country since 1990s. In 2001 and 2011 respectively, Chinese Ministry of Education issued the English Curriculum Standard (Experimental draft) and compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard (2011) in the ordinary High School of Full-time compulsory Education, both of which advocated the use of task-based teaching method in junior middle school teaching. Task-based teaching requires teachers to pay attention to language practice so that students can better stimulate their learning motivation. Meanwhile, task-based teaching can improve students' learning style and promote students' autonomous learning ability. Task-based teaching is also conducive to the overall cultivation and development of students' comprehensive quality, which are in line with the new curriculum concept in China. Therefore, task-based teaching has been widely used and popularized in China in recent years. The experimental textbook "compulsory Education Curriculum Standard" in Shandong Province (New goal go For it) is compiled with the task-based teaching idea as the core. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the actual situation of the teachers of junior high school in Shandong province using the new English teaching material "New Target" for task-based teaching, and to find out the factors that affect the effective implementation of task-based teaching in junior high school English classroom, and then put forward some relevant suggestions. This paper mainly uses questionnaire, interview and classroom observation to investigate teachers and students in two junior middle schools in Shandong province. The investigation and research in this paper mainly focus on four questions: 1) what is the teacher's acceptance of the new junior high school English textbook? 2) what is the teacher's cognition of task-based teaching? How to deal with the tasks designed in the Teaching material 3) how to promote students' English Learning by using Task-based approach in the Teaching of New English textbooks? 4) how to influence Task-based Teaching in Junior Middle School English Class What are the factors for the effective implementation of the learning method? Through the investigation, the author draws the following conclusions: the majority of English teachers agree with the new edition of New goals, and think that the textbook meets the requirements of the new curriculum standards and is suitable for the use of the seventh grade students. Most English teachers understand the basic concept of task-based teaching, but in practice, only a few teachers can use it effectively. Because most teachers have not received special task-based teaching training, they are unable to carry out the teaching method effectively in practical teaching, and most teachers do not fully understand the design intention of the tasks in the textbooks when dealing with the tasks designed in the textbooks. Arbitrarily deleting or changing the tasks in the textbooks is not conducive to students' English learning, and the use of task-based teaching methods in the new edition of the English textbook aims at stimulating students' interest in learning. It is beneficial to cultivate students' consciousness of autonomous learning and the spirit of cooperative inquiry, to master relevant language knowledge and language skills accurately, and to cultivate students' ability of comprehensive language use. There are four main factors that affect the effective implementation of task-based teaching: teachers' ability to use teaching materials rationally, teachers' teaching skills are not high, some teachers still have traditional teaching concepts, and the current evaluation system is unreasonable. In view of these four problems, the author puts forward some relevant suggestions, hoping to provide reference for the effective implementation of task-based teaching in the future.
