ARCS动机设计模式在高中生物教学中的应用

【摘要】: 高中生物新课程倡导学生自主性学习和探究性学习,而实现这一理念的前提就是提高学生的学习动机。因此,在课堂教学过程中,学生的学习动机的有效激发与否将直接关系到学生对知识的获得和能力的培养。 美国著名心理学家John M.Keller提出了ARCS动机设计模式,Keller针对学生群体的动机状况和教学内容的特点制定了大量用于提高学习动机的具体策略,可操作性强,为高中生物教学中激发学生的动机提供了重要的指导作用。 本文将ARCS动机设计模式运用于高中生物教学,在实验班实施了ARCS动机设计模式的教学策略。实施策略前后,对学生进行了“高中生生物学学习动机调查问卷”的调查,通过对调查结果及学业绩效的分析、比较,发现学生的学习动机情感反应和学业绩效均有一定程度的提高。可见,ARCS动机设计模式在高中生物教学中的应用是有效的,能激发学生的学习动机,发挥学生的学习主动性,值得在高中生物教学中进一步推广。
[Abstract]:The new curriculum of biology in senior high school advocates students' autonomous learning and inquiry learning, and the premise of realizing this concept is to improve students' learning motivation. Therefore, in the process of classroom teaching, whether the students' learning motivation is effective or not is directly related to the acquisition of knowledge and the cultivation of students' ability. John M. Keller, a famous psychologist in the United States, put forward the ARCS motivation design pattern. According to the characteristics of students' motivation and teaching content, Keller formulated a large number of specific strategies to improve learning motivation. It provides important guidance for motivating students in biology teaching in senior high school. In this paper, the ARCS motivation design model is applied to biology teaching in senior high school, and the teaching strategy of ARCS motivation design mode is implemented in the experimental class. Before and after the implementation of the strategy, the students were investigated with the questionnaire of Senior High School students' Biological Learning motivation, and the results and academic performance were analyzed and compared. It is found that students' learning motivation, emotion response and academic performance are improved to some extent. It can be seen that the application of ARCS motivation design mode in biology teaching in senior high school is effective, which can stimulate students' learning motivation and give full play to their learning initiative, which is worthy of being further popularized in biology teaching in senior high school.
