从输入假说角度研究背诵式输入对农村初中生英语写作能力的影响

【摘要】:本文是基于输入假说理论,研究背诵式输入和英语写作的关系。在二语习得中,史蒂芬.克拉申提出输入假说理论。输入假说表明学习者在语言习得过程中可以通过可理解性输入获得进步。克拉申认为,,语言习得需要通过语言输入来实现,最主要的教学方法应该集中在对初中生进行最好的语言输入,从而提高他们的语言习得。许多专家认为背诵能够有效地强化语言输入,培养语感,激发学生写作动机,从而提高学生的英语写作水平。在我国农村,由于教学条件有限,很多学生在小学阶段英语基础知识薄弱,一些小学几乎没有开设英语课,许多农村的初中生是英语的初学者。所以背诵式输入对他们尤为重要。但关于背诵的实验研究较少,背诵在农村初中英语写作方面进行的具体研究更不多见。 针对这一现状,作者提出三个研究问题:第一、农村初中生英语写作的现状如何?第二、背诵式输入能否提高农村初中生的英语写作兴趣?第三、从输入假说角度看背诵式输入能否提高农村初中生的英语写作能力?本实验的研究对象为河北省邯郸市王村中学初二两个班的90名学生。实验为期四个月。实验一开始,笔者对实验班和控制班的学生进行了实验前的前测,对实验班进行问卷调查,紧接着是实验过程,最后对两个班进行后测,对实验班进行实验后的问卷调查。通过使用软件SPSS17.0对实验数据进行了分析。 通过分析频率统计数据得出结果,表明农村初中生的英语写作水平比较低,在作文里有很多明显的语法错误,作文内容也不够丰富。通过对实验前后问卷调查的对比分析,可以看出通过背诵式输入,农村初中生的英语写作兴趣有了提高。通过对独立样本T检验和配对样本T检验的分析,不难看出实验班学生的英语写作成绩明显高于控制班。所以从输入假说角度看背诵式输入对农村初中生的英语写作能力有很大影响。虽然该研究受样本数量,教学时数及笔者本身的科研能力等因素的限制,但其结果对农村初中英语写作教学具有一定的参考意义。作者希望通过自己的努力能够唤起广大教育工作者以及学生,对背诵策略重新认识并且加以重视。
[Abstract]:Based on the theory of input hypothesis, this paper studies the relationship between recitation input and English writing. In second language acquisition, Stephen. Krashen put forward the theory of input hypothesis. The input hypothesis shows that learners can make progress through comprehensible input in language acquisition. According to Krashen, language acquisition needs to be realized through language input, and the most important teaching method should focus on making the best language input to junior high school students so as to improve their language acquisition. Many experts believe that recitation can effectively strengthen language input, cultivate language sense, stimulate students' writing motivation, and improve students' English writing ability. In the countryside of our country, because of the limited teaching conditions, many students have weak basic knowledge of English in primary school, some elementary schools have almost no English course, and many junior high school students in rural areas are English beginners. So reciting input is particularly important to them. However, there are few experimental studies on recitation, especially in rural junior high school English writing. In view of this situation, the author puts forward three research questions: first, what is the current situation of rural junior high school students' English writing? Second, can recitation input improve the interest of rural junior high school students in English writing? Thirdly, from the perspective of input hypothesis, can recitation input improve the English writing ability of rural junior high school students? The subjects of this experiment are 90 students in the second grade of Wangcun Middle School in Handan City, Hebei Province. The experiment lasted four months. At the beginning of the experiment, the author carries on the pre-test to the students of the experimental class and the control class, carries on the questionnaire survey to the experimental class, followed by the experiment process, finally carries on the post-test to the two classes, carries on the questionnaire survey after the experiment to the experimental class. The experimental data are analyzed by software SPSS17.0. By analyzing the statistical data of frequency, the results show that the English writing level of rural junior high school students is relatively low, there are many obvious grammatical errors in the composition, and the content of the composition is not rich enough. Through the comparative analysis of the questionnaire survey before and after the experiment, we can see that the rural junior high school students' interest in English writing has been improved through reciting input. Through the analysis of independent sample T test and matched sample T test, it is not difficult to see that the students' English writing scores in the experimental class are obviously higher than those in the control class. Therefore, from the perspective of input hypothesis, reciting input has a great influence on the English writing ability of rural junior high school students. Although the study is limited by the number of samples, teaching hours and the author's own scientific research ability, the results have some reference significance for the rural junior high school English writing teaching. The author hopes that through his own efforts, he can arouse educators and students to re-understand and attach importance to recitation strategies.
