初中生英语学习动机的性别差异与其成绩的关联性研究

在众多学习因素中,学习动机对学生的英语学习起至关重要的作用。作为一名中学英语教师,笔者在教学一线发现,有些学生尤其是男生常因对英语学习不感兴趣而学不好英语。假如成绩与动机相关,初中男女学生在学习动机类型和动机强度上究竟有何区别?如何激发和培养不同性别学生（尤其是男生）的英语学习动机?此类问题亟待一线教师们去研究和解决。基于二语习得理论和Gardner的学习动机量表,结合初中生英语学习的实际情况,作者就此进行了一次实证研究,对大连开发区第九中学三个年级144名学生进行了问卷调查,并对18人进行了访谈。研究围绕两个核心问题:（1）初中生的英语学习动机在类型和强度上是否存在性别差异?（2）初中生英语学习动机的性别差异与学习成绩之间是否存在关联性?如果存在,具体体现在哪些方面?实验始于2015年1月15日。当日作者就学生的学习动机类型、强度方面进行了问卷调查,采集了男女学生学习动机的相关数据。为增加问卷的有效性和可信度,作者于2015年1月19日对18名学生进行了抽样访谈。随后对数据进行了整理,并通过SPSS 20.0对获取的数据进行了差异归纳和分析。研究发现:初中生的英语学习动机在动机类型和...
