大学生作弊的文化分析

【摘要】：作弊不是一个新鲜的概念,却与每个时代的背景紧密相联,每个时代又增添了新的元素。关于作弊的研究不少,多集中于考试作弊的数量、手段、原因等表象的描述统计,甚少挖掘潜藏的隐性因素。如果作弊仅是个别学生的问题,我们可以通过严厉的惩罚或道德劝说来治理,但是,在这个时代,作弊疯传的厉害,如果有接近一半的学生作弊,我们的注意力就应该是全局的,应将这一行为置于广阔的社会文化背景中,深入思考高校、教师、家长、学生的文化偏执。从文化视角分析当前的大学生作弊行为不仅可以全面的认识这一行为的复杂性,而且可以窥视整个高等教育系统的文化环境。本文以文化视角为立足点,并不拘泥于某一种文化理论,而是考察与之相关的整个文化环境,既包括高校系统内的文化、教师文化、学生文化、家长文化、代际文化、群体文化;还包括我们这个时代独有的文化表征:互联网带来的网络文化,以及大学生道德观念的转变等。学生被这些大学文化所包围着,在这里,课堂作业不再居于学生的中心位置。他们被各种各样的活动所吸引,绝大多数活动的目的在于向成年人的转型,而与此同时他们又会好好利用保持孩子气的机会。在这些活动中,知识所占有的时间与关注度都被缩减了,取而代之的是学生对社会生活、各种活动及其他方面越来越急切的关注。时代在改变,考试作弊和论文抄袭都呈现出了新的时代特征,作弊的内涵也要被重新界定;作为全控机构的现代大学充斥着文化泡沫,娱乐至死的大学生活对大学生充满了诱惑,学生在这里拼命的学习,也在拼命的玩耍;学术引用的规则一直模糊不清,大学生对写作和引用充满了困惑,而学校必须进行积极的学术训练;互联网彻底颠覆了文本的传播方式,网络文化深深影响着学生对于知识的认知,加剧了作弊尤其是论文抄袭的普遍性;道德的观念在改变,当我们没有为学生进行恰当的道德教育时,又怎能堂而皇之的对其判为“道德死刑”;同时,21世纪的学生和20世纪的长辈之间的观念差异巨大,我们必须理性分析他们和我们之间的文化冲突,解释教师期待、学生期待和家长期待之间存在怎样的文化落差,促成双方的文化对话。总之,在这物欲横流的社会,学习、考试、写作似乎已不再是大学生的主要任务。大学生作弊似乎不再是学生个体的因素,而牵涉了整个社会文化系统的“生态平衡”。论文的第一章简要分析21世纪大学生作弊的现状,与过去相比,作弊的性质、手段、主体都发生了巨大变化,表现出一些新的时代特征,如作弊技术的网络化、作弊规则的模糊性和作弊语境的伸缩性。通过对关于作弊的越轨理论、博弈论和计划行为理论的分析,将各个学科、各种理论对作弊的剖析直观的呈现在眼前。第二章着重分析大学的文化泡沫,当前的大学状态,全控机构的大学环境。学生在腐败的系统中作弊;知识商品化和大学行政化改变了学生对于学习的常识;高等教育目标的外部性和模糊性对大学生的搁置,学生在这里拼命的学习与拼命的玩耍;合作学习和分享文化对他们如何看待抄袭产生了误导,在这种环境的诱导下,不同人格的大学生采取了不同的行为,以任务为目标的表演性学生可能更加倾向于作弊。第三章全面窥视了大学生作弊背后的文化因素。从大学内部到大学之外,从教师到管理人员,对作弊试图进行全方位的剖析。大学学术规则的软约束,原创性在当今时代的匮乏,引用规则的模糊性,大学对学生学术训练的缺位;互联网彻底改变了人们的学习方式以及对于知识的认知,网络文化让学生深陷“粘贴”的技术无法自拔;学生与教师文化的冲突,学生同辈群体文化的影响等人际环境也让大学生不知所措;同时,道德也是问题的一个方面,但绝不是因为大多数学生不道德。第四章是论文的终结篇。通过以上的分析,发现作弊绝不仅仅是学生个人品性的问题,而是整个高等教育系统突出矛盾的集中体现,学生、家长、教师、学校管理者都不能只靠自己来处理学生作弊问题,它需要全体利益相关者的高度协作,机构的主要任务不是去侦测作弊,而是创造一种文化环境,在这种环境中,学术不诚实行为是不能被接受和容忍的。大学要明确自身的目标,对学生进行有效的学术训练;还要开放交往文化,沟通对话交流;最后要重建学生的道德承担,建立一种诚信文化。文化是大学生作弊问题的症结所在,文化建构是最有效的治理路径。
