【摘要】：在中国近现代高等教育史上,1917年是既平凡而又不平凡的一年。这一年,以蔡元培、胡适、陶行知为代表的一批新型知识分子相继进入大学,他们主导了中国大学在制度和观念上的种种变革,加速了中国大学从传统学府向"研究高深学问之机关"的转变,加速了科学与民主要素在大学里的生长。1917年是中国高等教育从近代转型到现代的重要过渡之年。
[Abstract]:In the history of Chinese modern higher education, 1917 was both ordinary and extraordinary. This year, a group of new intellectuals, represented by Cai Yuanpei, Hu Shi and Tao Xingzhi, entered universities one after another. They led various changes in the system and concept of Chinese universities, and accelerated the transformation of Chinese universities from traditional institutions to "institutions of advanced learning". It accelerated the growth of scientific and democratic elements in universities. 1917 was an important transition year from modern to modern higher education in China.
