THE大学排名中C9高校与世界一流大学比较研究
[Abstract]:THE World University ranking is one of the authoritative university rankings in the world, and has been concerned by all walks of life since its birth. It is based on the concept of comprehensive evaluation of the functions of the university, and the evaluation index covers five aspects: teaching, research, paper citation, industrial income and internationalization. Therefore, THE World University rankings provide a more comprehensive reference for the development of universities. As the top universities in China, C9 universities should seize the opportunity and make full use of the ranking of the world universities to promote their own development. Although this perspective has attracted the attention of universities and scholars, there is still a lack of systematic and in-depth research. This paper follows the principle of combining qualitative and quantitative research, taking comparative research as the main train of thought, using the methods of comparative research, literature research, quantitative research and mathematical model, etc. In order to understand the status of C9 universities in the world education system, the differences between C9 universities and world-class universities in the ranking of THE universities were studied in three dimensions of index score and dynamic system. This paper investigates the changes in the ranking of C9 universities in each year in the ranking of THE universities, analyzes the differences between C9 universities and world-class universities, and explores the reasons for the differences. This paper clarifies the dynamic factors of C9 colleges and universities to promote international competitiveness and their role relationship, so as to explore the development of C9 colleges and universities to build world-class universities. It is found that the development of C 9 universities is relatively slow in the past six years, and it is still at a moderate level in the world. Compared with the top universities in the world, the ranking of C9 universities fluctuates greatly, and teaching is the main index factor. In terms of index score, C9 colleges and universities have the best performance of industrial income indicators, and scientific research is the largest gap between C9 universities and world-class universities. Therefore, exploring a variety of ways to improve scientific research capacity is the most important development of C 9 colleges and universities. According to the analysis of the dynamic system model of the development of colleges and universities, there is no natural development advantage in the world first-class universities, and there are also many negative trends in the system. In the dynamic system of university development, four dynamic factors, teaching, scientific research, internationalization and industrial income, complement each other and promote the development of colleges and universities together. If the above four factors can be combined perfectly, the goal of building a world-class university will be realized.
