新建本科院校的“学术漂移”趋向:现状、成因及其抑制——基于对91所新建本科院校转型现状的实证调查

【摘要】:通过对91所新建本科院校转型现状的实证调查发现,新建本科院校存在较为明显的以研究型大学为最终发展目标的"学术漂移"趋向。制度环境中"合法性机制"影响下的竞争性模仿、制度性模仿和社会规范机制使得新建本科院校办学模式趋同研究型大学,形成了"学术漂移"趋向。借鉴美国等国高等教育经验,抑制中国新建本科院校的"学术漂移"趋向,政府应发挥政策引导和资源配置的作用,统筹区域高等教育协调发展;社会组织应充分发挥其独特作用,引导社会转变观念和高校提高办学效能;新建本科院校自身应合理定位,注重内涵建设和特色发展。
[Abstract]:Through the empirical investigation of 91 newly established undergraduate colleges and universities, it is found that there is an obvious tendency of academic drift in newly established colleges and universities with the ultimate development goal of research-oriented universities. The competitive imitation under the influence of "legitimacy mechanism" in the institutional environment, the institutional imitation and the social norm mechanism make the mode of running a new undergraduate college converge to the research-type university, forming the tendency of "academic drift". Drawing lessons from the experience of higher education in the United States and other countries, restraining the trend of "academic drift" of newly established universities in China, the government should give full play to the role of policy guidance and resource allocation, and coordinate the development of regional higher education. The social organization should give full play to its unique role, guide the society to change the idea and improve the efficiency of running the university, and the newly-built undergraduate colleges should be rationally positioned, pay attention to the connotation construction and the characteristic development.
