21世纪大学教育的新挑战与台大精神
[Abstract]:This paper probes into the new challenges of university education and the spirit of National Taiwan University in the 21 st century. First of all, we must master the general trend of the 21st century in order to meet the new challenges of university education. The three trends faced in the 21st century are the development of globalization, the advent of the era of knowledge economy, and the rise of Asia. In order to explore this topic, we must think about the appearance and essence of "globalization". The appearance of "globalization" is that the relationship between countries is getting closer and closer. Management Master University said that the world today is a world without borders. These are the appearance of globalization as a result. If we discuss it only from the appearance, we can not help but limit our vision. We must analyze the essential problems of globalization from the point of view of "globalization as a process", from the development process of phenomena, dynamic changes, and deconstruct the myth of "center" on the basis of "pluralism". You can see multiple and diverse images of the world. In the torrent of history, Taiwan universities and teachers and students in Taiwan adhere to the subjectivity of education in the torrent of political power and social and economic power. Due to the efforts of successive presidents, it has laid a good foundation for the National Taiwan University in the torrent of history. During the period of authoritarian rule after the restoration of light, NTU insisted on the style of intellectuals and did not succumb to the masters of power. After Taiwan's economic development, NTU raised money from enterprises, but did not grovel to capitalists. In the face of the era of globalization, the era of knowledge economy, the era of high technology, and the advent of the era of the rise of Asia, the importance of universities in the 21 st century is increasing day by day. We see the importance of adhering to the spirit of educational subjectivity in the 21 st century. Taiwan's geographical location and cultural heritage have its advantages. Taiwan is also the largest island of overseas immigrants from the Han nationality since the 17th century, and it is the "world island" in the cultural exchanges between the East and the West. The humanistic landscape of Taiwan is very special. The main tone of Taiwan culture is multiculturalism based on Han national culture, which has rich connotation, and Taiwan universities will bear the responsibility of history in the revival of Chinese culture in the 21st century.
