基于原型理论的词汇教学对初中生英语多义词学习的影响

多义词教学一直是英语词汇教学的重点和难点。但长期以来并未受到足够重视,教学效果不尽如人意。近年来的研究表明认知语言学的原型理论为多义词教学提供了新的思路,它有利于学生对多义词的理解和记忆。但国内有关该理论的实证教学研究并不多,而对初中阶段的英语多义词教学研究则更少见,且缺少学习者对原型理论的了解能否提高其词义猜测能力的研究。由此,笔者提出把原型理论应用于初中英语多义词的教学中并展开教学效果研究。本文主要以原型理论为基础,以隐喻、转喻理论为辅助,主要研究以下三个问题:1)基于原型理论的词汇教学对初中生多义词的短时记忆有何影响?2)基于原型理论的词汇教学对初中生多义词的长时记忆有何影响?3)基于原型理论的词汇教学对初中生多义词的词义推断能力有何影响?本研究主要采用定量和定性相结合的方法。定量研究主要包括词汇测试,研究对象为来安三中初二年级两个班学生,共127名。其中实验组64人,控制组63人。通过前测,在了解到两组学生对多义词的掌握情况无显著差别的基础上,笔者对实验组采取了以原型理论为基础的多义词教学,对控制组采取传统的多义词教学。教学活动后,两组学生参加了多义词短时记忆测试,多义词的词义...
