警惕“做中学”:杜威参与理论辩正

【摘要】:"做中学"是对杜威教学方法的一种常见概括。而事实上,"做中学"并不是对杜威教学方法的一个精准的概括。相反,"做中学"还诱导人们重蹈杜威早就提示过的一些错误做法,比如追求浅薄兴趣、偏重动手操作、放松学术标准等。杜威的教学理论,强调学生对所学内容的理解,强调活动过程的理智色彩。一项活动在教学上有没有价值,要看这项活动是不是能影响更多别的学习经验。活动提供的直接经验,需要纳入经验的连续体当中去。与"做中学"相比,"参与"是对杜威的上述教学思想的更适宜的概括。把"做中学"误认为杜威的教学主张,容易强化当前学校教育界对于学生身体活动的迷信。
[Abstract]:"learning by doing" is a common generalization of Dewey's teaching method. In fact, it is not a precise generalization of Dewey's teaching method. On the contrary, it also induces people to repeat Dewey's suggestion. Some of the wrong practices, Dewey's teaching theory emphasizes students' understanding of what they have learned and the rational color of the activity process. Is an activity valuable in teaching? To see if this activity can affect more other learning experiences. The direct experience provided by the activity, "participation" is a more appropriate generalization of Dewey's above-mentioned teaching thought than "doing learning". It is easy to strengthen the current superstition of students' physical activities in school education.
