【摘要】: 本文研究的是从1894年至1929年湖南教育近代化,亦即湖南传统教育的近代转型过程。 近代化是人类历史上最剧烈、影响最深远的社会变革。这其中,作为上层建筑的教育转型是其中最重要的内容之一。处于后发国家后发地区的湖南教育近代化既与整个国家自上而下的教育变革大潮息息相关,又是这一时期湖南社会政治、经济发展各个因素综合作用的结果。因而这一过程既体现出与中国其他区域相似的共性特征,近代湖南独特的社会政治、经济、文化发展状况又决定了湖南教育近代化的独特风貌。 本文在充分吸收借鉴己有研究成果的基础上,从近代化视角探讨近代湖南教育变迁与政治、经济、文化及社会其他领域的互动关系,在中国教育近代化和近代湖南社会变迁的大背景下,系统分析湖南教育近代化的动因、过程、特点和影响,同时通过对这段历史的考察,揭示当今湖南教育问题存在的历史根源,为当今教育问题的解决提供参考和方法论视角。 论文以专题研究成篇,由绪论和正文组成。绪论部分对论文的研究对象和范围进行了界定,交代论文研究的基本思路、研究框架和研究方法。正文部分共分六章: 第一章大变革前的湖南传统教育:选取岳麓书院为个案,剖析湖南教育近代化启动之前传统教育发展状况,探讨湖湘文化、湖湘士林与湖南传统教育的内在关系; 第二章戊戌维新与湖南教育近代化第一轮契机:分析甲午战后湖南有利于近代化社会态势下的新教育契机,并从时务学堂“骤起而卒蹶”的命运探讨湖南教育近代化过程中所面临的深层次制约因素; 第三章从被动跟进到主动推进——新政时期(1900-1911)湖南教育近代化进程:探讨王朝新政强势推动下湖南新教育的发展轨迹,并从近代化视角分析湖南传统教育转型过程中的离异与回归现象; 第四章民国前期(1912-1929)湖南教育高潮与近代湖南教育体系的形成:考察民国前期社会政治、经济、文化领域大变革的大背景下湖南近代化教育体系的成型; 第五章近代湖南教育家群体与湖南教育近代化:探究近代湖南教育家群体特征及其对湖南教育近代化进程的影响; 第六章关于湖南教育近代化的思考:从背景、进程、推动力等方面比较湖南与其他省区教育近代化异同,分析湖南教育近代化进程总体特征,并从历史与现实的语境思考当今湖南教育现代化战略。
[Abstract]:This paper studies the modernization of Hunan education from 1894 to 1929, which is the modern transition process of Hunan traditional education. Modernization is the most dramatic and far-reaching social change in human history. Among them, educational transformation as superstructure is one of the most important contents. The modernization of Hunan education in latecomer countries is closely related to the tide of educational reform from top to bottom in the whole country, and it is also the result of the comprehensive action of various factors of Hunan's social and political and economic development in this period. Therefore, this process not only reflects the common features similar to other regions in China, but also determines the unique style and features of Hunan's education modernization due to the unique social, political, economic and cultural development of Hunan in modern times. On the basis of absorbing and drawing on the existing research achievements, this paper discusses the interactive relationship between modern Hunan educational changes and other fields of politics, economy, culture and society from the perspective of modernization. Under the background of the modernization of education in China and the social changes of Hunan in modern times, this paper systematically analyzes the causes, processes, characteristics and influences of the modernization of education in Hunan. At the same time, through the investigation of this period of history, To reveal the historical roots of the educational problems in Hunan, and to provide a reference and methodological perspective for the solution of the current educational problems. The thesis is composed of introduction and text. The introduction defines the object and scope of the paper, explains the basic ideas, research framework and research methods. The text is divided into six chapters: the first chapter is the traditional education of Hunan before the great change: select Yuelu Academy as a case study, analyze the development of traditional education before the modernization of Hunan education, and discuss the culture of Huxiang. Chapter two: reform Movement of 1898 and the first Round of Educational Modernization in Hunan: analysis of the New Educational opportunity in Hunan after the Jiawu War in favor of the Modernization Society. And from the fate of "sudden rise and fall" in the school of administrative affairs, the paper discusses the deep restrictive factors in the process of education modernization in Hunan. Chapter three: from passive Follow-up to active Promotion--Hunan Education during the New deal period (1900-1911) The process of modernization: to explore the development track of Hunan's new education under the strong impetus of the new policies of the dynasty, The fourth chapter is the upsurge of Hunan education in the early period of the Republic of China (1912-1929) and the formation of modern Hunan education system. The formation of Hunan's Modernization Education system under the background of the Great changes in the Cultural Field. Chapter five: modern Hunan educators and Hunan Educational Modernization: exploring the characteristics of Modern Hunan educationalists and their effects on Hunan The influence of the process of Educational Modernization; Chapter VI: reflections on the Modernization of Education in Hunan: from the background, This paper compares the similarities and differences between Hunan and other provinces in the process of education modernization, analyzes the overall characteristics of Hunan education modernization process, and thinks about the strategy of Hunan education modernization from the historical and realistic context.
