[Abstract]:As a form of free education, homeschooling education (Homeschooling),) emerged in America in the 1950s and 1960s. The development of homeschooling education in the United States was not smooth. At first, it was considered illegal and was generally rejected by the educational and social circles. It was not until 1993 that American homeschooling gained legal status in all states and the government worked with schools. In recent years, homeschooling education has become a form of education that can not be ignored in American education, and its scale is expanding rapidly, and it has been extended to many other countries, especially in Europe and America. Homeschooling education has also appeared in our country, but it is regarded as violating compulsory education law and not obtaining legal status. Of course, China's national conditions and culture are different from those of the United States. It is unreasonable to simply copy them, but it is not advisable to learn from them if we do not study them because of "soil" differences. In view of this, on the basis of introducing the history and present situation of American home school education, this paper attempts to analyze American family school education from the angle of sociology, so as to have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of home school education in the United States. In order to provide a useful reference and inspiration for the development of education in China. This thesis is composed of the following six parts: the first part, "introduction", defines the basic concepts of this research, namely, home school education, school education and family education. On this basis, the relationship between home school education, school education and family education is preliminarily analyzed, and then the research significance, research status, research ideas, contents and research methods in this study are expounded. The second part briefly reviews the historical evolution of American homeschooling education and describes its present situation. This thesis divides the history of American homeschool education into two stages: the period of confrontation with school, the period of government confrontation and the period of cooperation, and then, from the perspective of the development scale, type, teaching situation and school of American homeschool. The government's support and requirements for homeschooling are described in four aspects. The third part discusses and analyzes the causes of the rise of American homeschooling education. In this part, the reasons for the rise of American homeschool education are attributed to the quality and safety of school education, the educational concept and belief of parents and the special education needs of children, and then further from the social economy and politics. The influence of culture and educational thoughts on home school education is analyzed. The fourth part summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of American homeschooling education. From the perspective of educational sociologists' analysis of school education, this part summarizes the characteristics of homeschooling education from four aspects: organization, role, curriculum and classroom. Then use the relevant sociological theory to analyze the characteristics of homeschooling education. The fifth part discusses and analyzes the socialized function of American homeschooling education. The socialization of homeschool students has always been the focus of debate on homeschooling education. In this part, first of all, the author sorts out the views of both sides about the socialization of homeschooling education, the responses of parents of homeschooled schools and the research results of the researchers. Then the socialized function of home school education is further analyzed by using socialization theory. The sixth part is a summary. This part includes two parts: one is a brief evaluation of homeschooling education, the other is to think about its enlightenment to Chinese education.
