大学英语教师性情研究

【摘要】:本文研究领域是教师性情,研究目的是调查大学在职英语教师性情情况,以及探讨哪些因素影响教师性情。近几年,在美国,教师素质已经成为美国教师教育优先考虑的一个重要问题。教师性情逐渐成为教师教育研究的热点。积极的教师性情是教师整体素质的基本组成部分,它对教师个体生命质量的提升与专业的发展都具有重要的作用。从长远看,教师性情比教师的专业知识和教学技能更重要。教师具有一定的专业知识和教学技能,并以特定的方式传授特定内容是必要的,但这些并不足以确保教师在进行课堂实践时充分地利用他所学到知识和技能;教师还必须具有一定的性情来指导他们的课堂实践行为。此项研究的重要性在于对教师性情的深入研究有助于学生发展,教师自身专业发展,及大学的持续发展。本论文采取的研究方法包括文献法,对黑龙江省部分大学在职英语教师所做的问卷调查法及对少部分教师进行访谈。研究数据结果表明被调查的大学在职英语教师都具有积极的教师性情。本文的主要结论是大学在职英语教师的性情状况在教师的不同背景情况下没有明显的不同,教师的这些自然情况包括性别,年龄,教龄,最后学历,职称,毕业院校(是否师范毕业),及任教学校(985、211、普通综合性大学、专科院校、独立学院)。此外,教师性情与教师与学生的沟通,学生课堂表现,以及教师自身的社会价值观相关,这些因素在一定程度上影响教师性情。尤其是教师的社会价值观,对教师性情有预测能力。因此,本论文建议应加强我国教师性情的持续发展,从教师教育角度对职前教师,入职教师和在职教师三个群体的教师进行积极的教师性情培养,以促进我国教师教育的科学化和教师专业发展,培养更加高效的教师并教育出更优秀的学生。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this study is to investigate the temperament of serving college English teachers and to explore what factors affect their temperament in recent years in the United States. Teacher quality has become an important issue of priority in teacher education in the United States. Teacher temperament has gradually become a hot topic in teacher education research. Active teacher temperament is the basic component of the overall quality of teachers. It plays an important role in improving the quality of life and professional development of teachers in the long run. Teachers' temperament is more important than teachers' professional knowledge and teaching skills. It is necessary for teachers to have certain professional knowledge and teaching skills and to teach specific contents in specific ways. However, these are not sufficient to ensure that teachers make full use of their knowledge and skills in classroom practice; Teachers must also have a certain temperament to guide their classroom practice. The importance of this study is that the in-depth study of teachers' temperament is conducive to the development of students and teachers' own professional development. And the sustainable development of the university. The research methods adopted in this paper include the literature method. Questionnaires and interviews with a small number of serving English teachers in some universities in Heilongjiang Province were conducted. The results of the study show that all the active English teachers in the universities surveyed have positive qualities of teachers. The conclusion is that there is no significant difference in the temperament of college English teachers in different backgrounds. These natural conditions of teachers include gender, age, length of teaching, final qualifications, professional titles, graduate schools (whether or not normal school graduates, and teaching schools / colleges / universities / colleges / universities / colleges). In addition, teachers' temperament is related to teacher-student communication, students' classroom performance, and teachers' own social values. These factors affect teachers' temperament to a certain extent, especially teachers' social values, which can predict teachers' temperament. Therefore, this paper suggests that the sustainable development of teachers' temperament should be strengthened. In order to promote the scientific and professional development of teacher education in China, the teachers of pre-service teachers, in-service teachers and in-service teachers should be actively cultivated from the perspective of teacher education. Train more efficient teachers and educate better students.
