成都某高校英语教师绩效评估研究

【摘要】:当前我国高等院校高校英语教学的改革正在不断深入,其中一项重要内容就是如何正确有效地评估高校英语教学,英语教师的教学能力与效果。建立与完善高等院校英语教师绩效评估指标体系并运用该体系进行客观公正的高校英语教师绩效评估,不仅能够有效衡量英语教师教学和科研素质与能力,而且能全面系统反映高校英语教学的现状,同时它也能体现所建立的科学、人性、制度化的高校英语教师竞争体系。英语教师绩效评估研究在提高高校英语教学质量,调动教师教学积极性,推动人事制度改革和分配制度改革方面具有重要的意义。 本论文的研究由三个部分组成:在第一部分的研究里,笔者介绍了教师绩效评估的理论基础,包括教师评价理论、教学过程理论、激励理论等。第二部分研究的内容为高校英语教师绩效评估,在这个部分里,详细介绍了高校英语教师绩效的概念界定,高校英语教师绩效的特殊性、原则和意义等。第三部分内容为成都某高校英语教师绩效评估研究。主要内容为成都某高校英语教师绩效考核方案、绩效评估指标体系,并在对该校英语教师进行问卷调查和访谈的基础上,指出该校英语教师绩效评估的现状及存在的一些问题,并提出相应的改进建议。 本研究由四个章节组成。 第一章,主要内容为论文的选题背景、意义、论文研究的对象和论文的相关研究方法,关于教师绩效评估的相关理论,以及文献综述。 第二章,介绍了高校英语教师绩效评估的理论基础及相关概念,着重介绍了教师评价理论、教学过程理论、激励理论。同时对高校英语教师绩效评估做出了概念界定,指出高校英语教师绩效评估的特殊性、原则和意义。 第三章,成都某高校英语教师绩效评估研究。详细介绍了成都某高校教师绩效评估的相关政策和指标体系。在对该校英语教师进行了问卷调查和访谈的基础上,指出了该校英语教师绩效评估的现状及存在的问题。 第四章,主要结论与建议。在对成都某高校英语教师的绩效评估进行了深入研究和以该校在岗英语教师为对象进行了调查与分析的基础上,结合教师绩效评估的相关理论,指出了该校英语教师绩效评估中所存在的问题,并针对这些问题提出建议。 总之,本文通过对高校英语教师绩效考核相关理论的研究,对成都某高校英语教师绩效考核现状和体系的深入研究,笔者对成都某高校英语教师进了问卷调查,然后进行了一对一的访谈,得出以下结论:高校英语教师绩效评估有其特殊性,评估体系的制定至关重要,在评估时要合理地选择多元化的评估主体,广泛采纳各方面的意见,从而对英语教师的绩效评估体系进行科学地制定,使之更为合理,促进高校英语教师队伍的成长,以及英语教学的进步。
[Abstract]:At present, the reform of English teaching in colleges and universities in our country is deepening continuously. One of the important contents is how to evaluate English teaching in colleges and universities correctly and effectively. Establish and perfect the performance evaluation index system of English teachers in colleges and universities and use the system to evaluate English teachers' performance objectively and fairly. It not only can effectively measure the quality and ability of English teachers in teaching and research, but also can reflect the present situation of English teaching in colleges and universities, and it can also reflect the scientific and human nature that has been established. The research on English teachers' performance evaluation plays an important role in improving the quality of college English teaching, arousing teachers' enthusiasm in teaching and promoting the reform of personnel system and distribution system. This thesis is composed of three parts: in the first part, the author introduces the theoretical basis of teacher performance evaluation, including the theory of teacher evaluation, the theory of teaching process. The second part is about the performance evaluation of college English teachers. In this part, it introduces the definition of college English teachers' performance, the particularity of college English teachers' performance. The third part is a study on the performance evaluation of English teachers in a certain university in Chengdu. The main content is the performance evaluation scheme of English teachers in a certain university in Chengdu, and the performance evaluation index system. On the basis of questionnaire survey and interview, this paper points out the present situation and problems of English teachers' performance evaluation, and puts forward some suggestions for improvement. This study consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, the main contents are the background, significance, research object, relevant research methods, relevant theories about teacher performance evaluation, and literature review. The second chapter introduces the theoretical basis and related concepts of college English teachers' performance evaluation, focusing on the teacher evaluation theory, teaching process theory, incentive theory, and at the same time, defines the concept of college English teachers' performance evaluation. This paper points out the particularity, principle and significance of performance evaluation of college English teachers. Chapter three, the research on the performance evaluation of English teachers in a certain university in Chengdu, introduces in detail the relevant policies and index system of the performance evaluation of English teachers in a certain university in Chengdu. On the basis of a questionnaire survey and an interview with English teachers in Chengdu, This paper points out the present situation and existing problems of English teachers' performance evaluation in our school. Chapter 4th, main conclusions and recommendations. Based on the in-depth study of the performance evaluation of English teachers in a certain university in Chengdu and the investigation and analysis of the English teachers in the university, this paper combines the relevant theories of teacher performance evaluation. This paper points out the problems existing in the performance evaluation of English teachers and puts forward some suggestions. In a word, through the research on the theories of English teachers' performance appraisal, the author makes a deep research on the present situation and system of English teachers' performance appraisal in a certain university in Chengdu. The author has conducted a questionnaire survey on the English teachers in a certain university in Chengdu. Then the author makes a one-to-one interview and draws the following conclusions: the performance evaluation of college English teachers has its particularity and the establishment of the evaluation system is of great importance. Therefore, the performance evaluation system of English teachers is scientifically formulated to make it more reasonable, to promote the growth of English teachers in colleges and universities, and to promote the progress of English teaching.
