庄泽宣的高等教育思想及其对现代大学建设的启示

【摘要】:庄泽宣(1895-1976),我国近代史上著名的教育家。1917年获“庚款”留学美国,一年后回国主持清华改造,1922年后先后任教于清华大学、厦门大学、国立中山大学、浙江大学、广州大学、香港岭南大学和南洋大学。在长期的高等教育探索与实践中,庄泽宣通过考察和比较各国高等教育的发展情况,吸收中西高等教育之长处,反思本国高等教育之不足,提出了自己独特的高等教育思想。借助文献法、历史研究法和比较研究法,广泛搜集有关庄泽宣的第一手资料,对庄泽宣富有革命性与超前性的高等教育思想进行梳理,填补后人对其教育思想研究的缺口,进而为我国现代大学建设提供历史启示。庄泽宣高等教育思想的形成有其特定的原因,包括社会背景和个人经历两方面。近代中国政局动荡、民族经济畸形发展、中西文化相互交融碰撞、中国近代教育虚势浮华且不合国情和爱国知识分子呼吁“教育救国”五方面是其高等教育思想形成的社会环境;早期的中外求学经历和教育实践探索构成了其高等教育思想形成的个人原因,为提炼庄泽宣的高等教育思想内容作了铺垫。庄泽宣从高等教育之地位与宗旨、高等教育行政与后勤管理、高等教师之任聘与管理、大学科系与课程设置、高等教育内容与教法以及大学生之培养与管理六个方面阐述其关于高等教育的观点,具有时代性、区域性、现实性和全面性的特点,在丰富自身的教育思想内容、完善我国近代高等教育理论、推进我国近代高等教育中国化进程中影响深远。庄泽宣的高等教育思想为我国现代大学建设提供了重要的启示,包括合理确定现代高等教育的目标、选好大学校长并推进后勤服务社会化、坚持以人为本打造一流高校教师队伍、优化高等教育课程结构和完善教学内容、创新高等教育教学方法、严格大学生之管理,为我国现代大学建设过程中遇到的难题提供历史借鉴。
[Abstract]:Zhuang Zexuan (1895-1976), the famous educationist in the modern history of China was studying in the United States in.1917 year by the "Geng". One year later, he returned to preside over the reform of Tsinghua. After 1922, he taught in Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Zhongshan University, Zhejiang University, the Zhejiang University, the Zhongshan University and the University of Nanyang. By examining and comparing the development of higher education in various countries and absorbing the advantages of the higher education in China and the west, Zhuang Zexuan rethinks the shortage of higher education in his own country and puts forward his own unique higher education thought. With the help of literature, historical research and comparative research, the first hand information of Guan Zhuang's propaganda is widely collected, and it is revolutionary to Zhuang Zexuan. The idea of advanced higher education is combed in order to fill the gap in the study of educational thought by the later generations, and then provide historical enlightenment for the construction of modern university in China. The formation of Zhuang Zexuan's higher education thought has its specific reasons, including two aspects of social background and personal experience. The five aspects of the Chinese modern education and the national conditions and the patriotic intellectuals calling for "education and saving the country" are the social environment that the higher education thought is formed. The early Chinese and foreign study experience and the exploration of the education practice constitute the individual reasons for the formation of the higher education thought, which is the high level of refining Zhuang Zi's propaganda. Zhuang Zexuan's views on higher education are described in six aspects, such as the position and purpose of higher education, the administrative and logistic management of higher education, the appointment and management of higher teachers, the University Department and the curriculum, the contents and methods of higher education and the cultivation and management of college students. The characteristics of domain, reality and comprehensiveness have far-reaching influence in enriching the content of the education thought, perfecting the modern higher education theory in our country and promoting the process of Chinese modern higher education in China. Zhuang Zexuan's thought of higher education provides important enlightenment for the construction of modern universities in China, including the objective of rational determination of modern higher education. In order to select the university presidents and promote the socialization of the logistics service, we should adhere to the people-oriented construction of the first-class university teachers, optimize the structure of the higher education curriculum and improve the teaching content, innovate the teaching methods of higher education, strictly manage the college students, and provide a historical reference for the problems encountered in the construction of modern universities in China.
