美国斯坦福大学教师管理研究

【摘要】:大学教师水平代表了学校的学术水平和科研水平,是教育可持续发展的关键因素。因此,教师的管理自然是大学管理的重要组成部分。 我国高等教育自改革开放三十年以来发生了天翻地覆的变化,取得了巨大的进步。特别是进入二十一世纪以来,我国开始了高等教育大众化的进程,极力倡导要建设世界一流学科、创办世界一流大学。但是,我国大学在建设世界一流大学的路上还只是刚刚起步,与世界一流大学还有一定的距离。目前,我国大学在教师聘用、教师管理、师资建设等问题上还存在着许多的不足和缺陷。 本文第一部分主要对美国斯坦福大学的教师管理制度进行了简单的介绍;第二部分分大学董事会、大学行政管理机构和大学学术管理机构三个部分对斯坦福大学的教师管理职能做出了详细的描述;第三部分将教师管理分解为聘用管理、评价管理、晋升管理、休假管理、薪酬管理、学术管理等,并分别总结了不同管理部分的基本内容和特点;最后一章总结了斯坦福大学教师管理对我国教师管理的启示。 本文在理论上为我国大学教师管理提供方法论指导,从而丰富和完善了我国大学教师管理理论,对大学教师管理研究起到了一定的规范作用。实践方面,对斯坦福大学教师管理的研究能够为我国大学教师管理中出现的具体问题的解决提供参考依据,具有很强的实践意义。
[Abstract]:The level of university teachers represents the academic level and scientific research level of the school, and is the key factor of the sustainable development of education. Therefore, the management of teachers is naturally an important part of university management. Since the reform and opening up 30 years ago, great changes have taken place in China's higher education and great progress has been made. Especially since the 21 century, China has begun the process of popularizing higher education, advocating the construction of world-class disciplines and the establishment of world-class universities. However, the construction of the world-class universities in our country is just beginning, and there is still a certain distance from the world-class universities. At present, there are still many deficiencies and defects in the employment, management and construction of teachers in Chinese universities. The first part of this paper mainly introduces the teacher management system of Stanford University in the United States. In the third part, the teacher management is divided into employment management, evaluation management, promotion management, leave management. Salary management, academic management, and so on, and summarizes the basic contents and characteristics of different management parts. The last chapter summarizes the inspiration of Stanford University teacher management to the management of Chinese teachers. In theory, this paper provides methodological guidance for the management of university teachers in our country, thus enriches and perfects the theory of university teacher management in our country, and plays a certain normative role in the research of university teacher management. In practice, the research on the management of Stanford University teachers can provide reference for solving the specific problems in the management of university teachers in China, which has a strong practical significance.
