基于学生视角评价硕士研究生导师的作用

【摘要】：目前国内外研究生培养主要实行导师负责制。作为大学和学生之间的纽带,导师承担着多重责任。广大学者就导师制的诸多方面进行了研究,包括导师制的有效性、导师面临的挑战、师生人际交往和导师评价等。然而笔者发现现有的文献多是从导师的角度出发讨论的,从学生这一视角评价导师制问题的研究相对较少；并且文献中的研究生导师通常既包含硕士生导师也包含博士生导师。但事实上,硕士生和博士生存在很多不同,这也必然导致导师指导方式上的差异。因此,本文调查研究以华中师范大学英语专业研究生为研究对象,研究核心为他们对导师作用的评价。本次关于导师作用评价的研究主要围绕三个问题展开,即学生对导师作用的期待、学生对导师的满意度和学生认为造成导师作用大／小的原因。研究发现,学生普遍对导师抱有很大期待,既包括学科知识、科研能力和毕业论文方面,也包括情感教育方面。同时学生对导师的满意度不高,特别是情感教育方面。学生认为造成的原因有主客观两方面。客观因素指导师指导的学生人数过多和单一导师制的实行；主观因素指导师玩忽职守,具体体现为对学生缺乏信任、没有具体的学生指导安排、见面次数少和指导反馈不足。最后,笔者就如何更好的发挥导师作用提出了建议：改革单一导师制,鼓励导师合作指导学生；改进学生选择导师的程序,尊重学生的建议；完善导师任命制度,实行全面评价导师；强化导师的责任意识,严格控制学生人数,适当承担行政任务。
