云南大学“东盟”留学生的跨文化适应研究

【摘要】：受中国综合国力的不断攀升和来华留学热的影响,近年来滇留学生,尤其是来自“东盟”国家的留学生人数不断增加。这些留学生的跨文化适应问题也随之而来。 本研究采取定量和定性相结合的研究方法,研究在滇“东盟”留学生的跨文化适应问题。本研究共发放60份调查问卷,收回有效问卷52份进行最终的研究。收集的初始数据经由统计软件SPSS21.0进行了分析。主要的分析步骤为描述性分析和单因素分析。受访者为从参与问卷调查中同意接受采访的7人。采访首先被录音,之后对其进行转写,内容归类,讨论和总结。 研究结果表明学习语言和文化是“东盟”来滇留学生最大的留学动机。而受他人和外部影响是对其来滇影响最小的动机。在跨文化适应策略方面,东盟留学生最倾向于认可融合策略,分离和同化策略次之,而边缘策略最少人认可。性别与边缘和融合策略有显著的统计相关性,男性更倾向于采用边缘策略而女性则更倾向于采取融合侧略。在滇时间同采取融合策略的倾向性也具有显著的相关统计性。 在滇“东盟”留学生有轻微的跨文化适应困难。对其心理适应状况的研究显示他们有轻微的心理适应问题。国籍和学历与其心理适应在统计上呈显著相关性。在社会文化适应中,“理解当地口音”和“找到喜欢的食物”是他们面临的最大问题。而对他们而言最简单的是购物和熟悉当地的交通系统。性别和中文水平与其社会文化适应有显著相关性。在学术适应方面,他们面临的最大困难是使用图书馆、理解课堂内容和通过考试。他们认为按时上课,和本国人交朋友没有困难。性别和学历与其显著相关。此外,留学动机和社会文化及学术适应成正相关。访谈结果也印证了问卷调查中所反映的问题。 最后,作者对本研究进行了总结,提出了本文的研究局限,并对学校和“东盟”留学生提出了建议,同时也为未来的相关研究提出了些许方向和看法。
