论怀特海的高等教育哲学思想

【摘要】:目前,国内对怀特海的研究大多集中在哲学和过程教育哲学这两方面,对其高等教育哲学思想的研究却很少见。因此,本文将从一个崭新的视角出发,重点探讨怀特海的高等教育哲学思想,以期为高等教育哲学及高等教育理论研究提供更多的见解和认识,从而指导我国高等教育的改革和发展。 本文主要依据1929年出版的《教育的目的及其他》,该书收集了怀特海1916年的论文《教育的目的》和五篇相关的教育演讲稿,内容涉及教育理论和实践的诸多方面。其中第二部分教育节奏的第十节与第六部分的内容着重对高等教育观点进行了论述。此外,他的《科学与近代世界》和《思维方式》中论述大学教育的观点,这些论述共同构成了笔者研究怀特海高等教育哲学思想的原始依据和主要来源。具体而言,论文主要包括以下几个方面:第一,怀特海高等教育哲学思想的产生和形成。笔者采用历史分析的方法从纵向的角度还原怀特海当时生活的环境及实践活动。第二,怀特海高等教育哲学思想的基础。一定时期下思想的产生往往都会受到他人或者以往理论的影响,怀特海的高等教育哲学思想主要来源于其特定的过程哲学基础及当时盛行于教育界的自由主义教育流派。第三,怀特海高等教育哲学思想的基本观点。主要从高等教育本体论、高等教育价值论、高等教育活动论和高等教育品格论四方面进行阐述。第四,怀特海高等教育哲学思想的特点。笔者通过对怀特海高等教育哲学思想的内容进行分析得出,该思想主要具有推崇联系、鼓励创造、主张自由的特点。第五,怀特海高等教育哲学思想的历史影响和不足。对于一个思想的评价,我们需辩证来看。怀特海高等教育哲学思想对当时资本主义生产、社会和教育都有着积极的历史影响,但同时也存在唯心主义,具有宗教神学色彩、陷入了折中主义的困境、观点在当时过于理想化等不足。第六,探索了怀特海高等教育哲学思想对高等教育理论和实践的当代价值,希望能为我们高等教育改革和发展提供帮助。
[Abstract]:At present, most of the studies on Whitehead focus on philosophy and process education philosophy, but the research on his philosophy of higher education is rare. Therefore, this paper will focus on Whitehead's philosophy of higher education from a new perspective, in order to provide more opinions and understanding for the philosophy of higher education and the theoretical study of higher education. So as to guide the reform and development of higher education in China. This paper is mainly based on the purpose and other of Education published in 1929. The book collects Whitehead's 1916 paper "aims of Education" and five related educational speeches, covering many aspects of educational theory and practice. The second part focuses on the views of higher education in the tenth and sixth sections of the rhythm of education. In addition, his views on university education in Science and the Modern World and the way of thinking constitute the original basis and the main source of the author's study of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education. Specifically, the thesis mainly includes the following aspects: first, the origin and formation of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education. The author adopts the method of historical analysis to restore the environment and practice of Whitehead's life. Second, the basis of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education. In a certain period of time, the emergence of thought is often influenced by others or previous theories. Whitehead's philosophy of higher education is mainly derived from his particular process philosophy foundation and the liberal educational school prevailing in the educational circles at that time. Third, the basic viewpoints of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education. It mainly expounds the ontology of higher education, the theory of higher education value, the theory of higher education activity and the theory of higher education character. Fourth, the characteristics of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education. By analyzing the content of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education, the author concludes that this thought has the characteristics of advocating relation, encouraging creation and advocating freedom. Fifth, the historical influence and deficiency of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education. For the evaluation of an idea, we need to dialectically look at it. Whitehead's philosophy of higher education had a positive historical impact on capitalist production, society and education at that time, but at the same time there was idealism, religious theology, and fell into the dilemma of eclecticism. The idea was too idealized at that time. Sixth, it explores the contemporary value of Whitehead's philosophy of higher education to the theory and practice of higher education, hoping to provide help for the reform and development of our higher education.
