南昌大学来华留学生跨文化适应问题研究
[Abstract]:Foreign students in China refer to foreigners who enter mainland China's higher education institutions to study. The foreign students in this study refer to the students studying in China, including undergraduate and graduate students. The level of adaptation of foreign students in foreign countries is the basis for their completion of their studies. The purpose of this study is to find out the current situation of cross-cultural adaptation of Chinese students from Nanchang University and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to help them adapt. This study is based on the general health status questionnaire (GHQ12) designed by Goldberg, the life satisfaction scale designed by Dina and the cross-cultural adaptation questionnaire for foreign students in China by Yang Junhong, Ph.D. of East China normal University. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 151 students from Nanchang University, and four students from different nationalities were interviewed. The results show that: (1) the cross-cultural adaptation level of Nanchang University students in China is at the middle level, among which the academic adaptation dimension has the highest score, and the sociocultural adaptation dimension is the second. The score of psychological adaptation dimension was the lowest. (2) there were differences in cross-cultural adaptation level among Chinese students, such as gender, nationality (region), age, time of arrival in China, language students and non-language students. (3) gender, nationality (region), age, etc. Time, language students and non-language students are important factors influencing cross-cultural adaptation of Chinese students. Based on the above analysis, this study puts forward the following countermeasures: to reform the management of foreign students in China, and to implement "the degree of differential management"; To establish various forms of consultation channels and communication networks to encourage foreign students to participate in the local social and cultural life and to fully and objectively understand the cultural characteristics of China; (B) strengthen cross-cultural training for teachers and managers who are in frequent contact with foreign students to raise their awareness of different cultures; To establish a "trinity" mental health education system for foreign students in schools, teachers and foreign students, to find out early and intervene in time, and to pay attention to the role of peer counselors in the process of cross-cultural adaptation.
