高校双语教育存在的问题与对策研究

近年来,双语教育作为我国社会的一个热点问题,已引起越来越多人的注意。其作为一种全新的教育方法,是指用外语或学生的第二语言作为教学媒介来进行学科教学。在该教育系统中,教学的最终目标是让学生在掌握学科知识的同时提高外语能力。世界公认的双语教育早在上个世纪60年代便已出现,在一些发达国家,诸如美国、加拿大、新加坡等,双语教育早已形成一定的规模,但是由于国情不同,各国的双语教育目的很不一样,教育模式亦存在很大差异。总的来说,有过渡型双语教育、保持型双语教育、浸没型双语教育等几种模式,其中以加拿大的浸没型双语教育模式最为成功。 然而双语教育在取得明显效果的同时,也存在不少问题,诸如师资问题、课程设置问题以及学生语言基础问题等,不一而足,而且这些问题在不同的国家有不同的表现形式。于是,关于双语教育“是”与“非”的争论也就一直没有停止过。 中国海洋大学早在2001年就开始了“双语教育”的尝试,经过多年的教学实践积累了一定的教学经验。本文以二语习得的相关理论和研究方法为指导,对该校的双语教育进行了案例分析,以不同专业两个年级256名学生作为主要研究对象,通过收集信息、课堂观察、采访教师、对学生做问卷调...
