农村职业教育投资回报率的变化:1989～2009年

【摘要】：农村职业教育对农村经济发展有着重要意义,特别是随着我国农村劳动力市场发育程度的不断提高,职业教育对农村劳动参与和就业收入的影响越来越明显。为了定量考察过去20年来我国农村职业教育投资回报率的动态变化,以及农村职业教育对农户家庭及居民劳动收入的影响效应,本文利用新近发展的倾向得分匹配方法,基于1989年至2009年进行的8次全国性住户抽样调查数据进行了实证分析。在控制了样本选择性偏差后,倾向得分匹配结果显示,农村职业教育比普通高中教育的投资回报率更高,而且农村职业教育对农户家庭及个人收入均有正向显著影响,其中家庭年均回报率约为8.33%,个人年均回报率高达16.94%。从这个意义上讲,促进农村职业教育发展是加快我国农村经济转型和调整农村收入分配格局的重要途径。
[Abstract]:Rural vocational education plays an important role in the development of rural economy, especially with the development of rural labor market, the influence of vocational education on rural labor participation and employment income is becoming more and more obvious. In order to investigate quantitatively the dynamic changes of the rate of return on investment in rural vocational education in the past 20 years, and the effect of rural vocational education on the income of peasant households and residents, this paper uses the newly developed tendency score matching method. Based on the data of 8 national household sampling surveys conducted from 1989 to 2009, the empirical analysis was carried out. After controlling for the bias of sample selectivity, the result of tendency score matching shows that the return on investment of rural vocational education is higher than that of ordinary high school education, and rural vocational education has a positive and significant impact on household and personal income. The average annual return of households is about 8.33 and that of individuals is as high as 16.94. In this sense, to promote the development of rural vocational education is an important way to accelerate the transformation of rural economy and adjust the pattern of rural income distribution.
