台湾学生在沪跨文化适应研究

【摘要】:随着海峡两岸交流增多,来大陆求学的台湾学生数量不断增长。由于两岸文化差异,再加上特殊的政治背景,台湾学生的在华适应有别于外籍留学生,引起研究者的关注。本研究选取在上海高校求学的台湾学生作为研究对象,包括本科生、硕士生和博士生,通过质性访谈和量化研究相互结合的方式,了解台湾学生在上海的跨文化适应状况,探究影响台湾学生跨文化适应的因素。 对8位受访者进行质性访谈,并运用扎根理论进行分析。结果表明,台湾学生在上海的跨文化适应受到多元文化人格、社会支持、跨文化沟通效能感、适应策略以及在沪时长等因素的影响,开放性的人格特质对跨文化适应促进作用明显。台湾学生多采用整合、隔离的适应策略,跨文化适应水平总体良好。 为了进一步明确质性访谈中得到的变量对跨文化适应的影响,对81名台湾学生进行了问卷调查。在量化研究中,将台湾学生的生活满意感、社会文化适应和心理健康作为适应变量,选取多元文化人格、沟通效能感和人口统计学因素作为影响变量,探究其对适应变量的影响程度。研究结果表明,社会文化适应和心理健康显著相关,人格的五个维度中灵活性和生活满意感显著相关,开放性、文化共感性、社交主动性、灵活性均与社会文化适应显著相关,开放性、文化共感性和社交主动性均与心理健康显著相关,沟通效能感则和生活满意感、社会文化适应显著相关。
[Abstract]:With the increase of cross-strait exchanges, the number of Taiwanese students coming to the mainland to study has been increasing. Due to the cultural differences between the two sides and the special political background, the adaptation of Taiwan students in China is different from that of foreign students. This study selected Taiwanese students in Shanghai universities as the research objects, including undergraduate, master and doctoral students, through qualitative interviews and quantitative research methods. To understand the cross-cultural adaptation of Taiwanese students in Shanghai and to explore the factors that affect the cross-cultural adaptation of Taiwanese students. The results show that the cross-cultural adaptation of Taiwanese students in Shanghai is supported by multicultural personality, social support, and cross-cultural communication efficacy. Due to the influence of adaptation strategies and the length of time in Shanghai, the open personality traits play a significant role in promoting cross-cultural adaptation. Taiwanese students mostly adopt integrated and segregated adaptation strategies, and the level of cross-cultural adaptation is generally good. In order to further clarify the impact of the variables obtained in qualitative interviews on cross-cultural adaptation, a questionnaire survey was conducted among 81 Taiwanese students. In a quantitative study, the life satisfaction of Taiwanese students was assessed. Social and cultural adaptation and mental health as adaptation variables, select multicultural personality, communication efficacy and demographics as the impact variables, to explore its impact on adaptive variables. Social cultural adaptation is significantly related to mental health, flexibility is significantly related to life satisfaction in the five dimensions of personality, openness, cultural co-perception, social initiative, flexibility are significantly related to social and cultural adaptation. Openness, cultural co-perception and social initiative are significantly related to mental health, communication efficacy and life satisfaction, social and cultural adaptation significantly related.
