“911事件”后美国国际研究生教育:挑战、对策与现状

【摘要】：美国高度重视国际研究生在美国发展中的作用。但是,"911事件"以来的签证制度以及世界其他国家的竞争减弱了美国吸引国际研究生的能力。2004年以来,美国政府、高校和研究机构共同努力,推动了国际研究生入学数量的回升。2007年新出台的美国研究生院理事会(CGS)报告分析了2006-2007年度美国研究生院中国际研究生入学以及与国际高校建立合作学位项目的情况,指出国际研究生入学数量有了较大的增长,而且较多的美国高校和国际高校建立了合作学位项目,但在国际研究生入学方面仍存在一些问题。
[Abstract]:The United States attaches great importance to the role of international graduate students in the development of the United States. But visa regimes since 9 / 11 and competition from the rest of the world have weakened the ability of the United States to attract international graduate students. Since 2004, the U.S. government, universities and research institutions have worked together. The new 2007 (CGS) report of the Board of Governors of the Graduate School of the United States analyzed the international graduate enrollment in the United States Graduate School in 2006-2007 and the establishment of cooperative degree programs with international colleges and universities. It is pointed out that the number of international graduate students has increased greatly, and more American and international universities have established cooperative degree programs, but there are still some problems in the field of international graduate enrollment.
