英国教育博士研究生的培养及其特征——以伦敦大学教育研究院和格拉斯格大学为中心

【摘要】:英国的教育博士专业学位(Ed.D)教育始于1992年,近些年来发展迅速。与美国的Ed.D作为职前学位的性质不同,英国的Ed.D属于一种在职专业学位。这种Ed.D一方面强调Ed.D对于知识生产方面的贡献,另一方面更注重促进在职人员的专业发展。透过对伦敦大学教育研究院和格拉斯格大学等英国高校Ed.D培养的考察,我们发现英国Ed.D培养至少有三个特点值得我们关注和借鉴:视Ed.D为研究型学位,重视研究训练;突出过程指导与监控,注重培养质量;充分利用现代信息技术,开展网上教学。
[Abstract]:Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) education in Britain began in 1992 and has grown rapidly in recent years. Unlike the American Ed.D as a pre-employment degree, Ed.D in the UK is a professional degree in the job. On the one hand, Ed.D emphasizes the contribution of Ed.D to knowledge production, on the other hand, it pays more attention to the professional development of people on the job. Through the investigation of Ed.D cultivation in British universities such as the Institute of Education of the University of London and the University of Glasgow, we find that there are at least three characteristics of Ed.D cultivation in the United Kingdom that we should pay attention to and learn from: regarding Ed.D as a research degree. Attach importance to research and training; Stress process guidance and monitoring, pay attention to training quality, make full use of modern information technology, carry out online teaching.
